Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Mary (Asplin) Lambert from Edmond, Oklahoma. I am the daughter of Ray and Fern (Park) Asplin. Ancestors include the Asplin, Mead(e), Doty, Hulsey, Lewis, King, Park, Hairston, Parker, Banta, DeMott, DeMarest,Terhune, and Joslin families.

The Joslin (Joccelyn,Jocelyn, Joscelin, Josceline,Joscelyn, JOSHLIN, Joslyn, Josselyn,
Josselyne) family relates to me as well as my husband. Thomas Joslin, who came to America in 1635, had a son named Abraham who is my direct ancestor. Thomas Joslin also had a son named Nathaniel who is my husband's direct ancestor.

I have been able to trace my ancestry back to Edward Doty who arrived with the Pilgrims on the Mayflower. This has been supported by DNA through a male (Doty) second cousin once removed.

I would be pleased to transfer memorials to you since most of the memorials that I post are not that of my relatives. I would be happy to make corrections, add family links, and include any additional information to the memorials that you provide. If I need to make additions and corrections on the memorials that I have posted, please use the Edit button on the upper right area of each memorial to contact me. Feel free to use any of my photographs that I place on FAG.

When I visit graves online, I like to leave a flower so that friends and family of the deceased will know that their loved one was acknowledged that day. You are welcome to transfer any of my "flowers" to your own scrapbook. I try not to use any "flowers" that have a copyright mark such as on the lower left side of the image.

RE: Noah Abner Maples
Hello Mary,

Thank you for the information about the digital birth/death records. Actually, I am familiar with the site and it is one of my favorite resources.

Yes, Noah's birth date is different just about everywhere you look. Fortunately, I also have copies of census records, his military records, and oral family history to help me.

The information on Minda's death certificate was given by her daughter-in-law Reva who also gave the wrong maiden name for Minda's mother. Not an uncommon occurrence as you know.

Thanks again,

RE: William W. Lewis on FAG
Mary - I had no idea who I was responding to--I had not paid attention to your name. Very nice to meet you and I've really enjoyed working with Shelby on the Lewis line. I love finding out about the brothers and sisters, and aunts and uncles, etc. Their lives always influence the lives of my direct line. I've really appreciated his input; it's certainly allowed me to find more info than I would have on my own.
