 | RE: Ellen Long Hi Cynthia, Ellen Long's obit comes from the Vermont Phoenix. The same is true for Daniel Long, unless we are talking about his son (my great grandfather) who died in Superior, WI. Please let me know if you need any clarification. | | | James Harry Lawrence

 | The Proctor Family Dear Cynthia,
WOW, WOW I just open my emails & it's like Christmas !!!! What a wonderful gift that you gave me !!!! The Proctor family!!!!!
That was very kind of you to do this, WOW what a present !!!!
I am trying to link all the family up. I will send you the numbers of the Blood Family, so that you can link them up.
I am so thrilled to get the Proctor Family, you can see how I am trying to link them up, I have been working hard on the Proctors since 1984. There are a big family, but I think that the Hildreth's might be slightly bigger?
But anyway, I just want to Thank You so Much. I remember going to Cavendish & Proctorsville, VT as I went to Vermont College in Montpelier. it was a long time a go. I want to move to Vermont, as I LOVE the state & my cousins live there. I just have to remember the flooding, I know that the old Roots Cellar, now State of Vermont Archives was moved because of all the flooding in downtown Montpelier. The records were taking quite a beating.
Cynthia, you & your family must be from Vermont? Vermont for me is a good days drive. I remember so well & took photos of the Proctors Cemetery, but I did lose alot of photos when I was in Cavendish, I left them in the cemetery, back in 1994. Now we have digital photography.
Anyway, Thank You so much. I am so busy at present as our son & his family are coming next Saturday. They unfortunately leave on Saturday May 11 & Mother's day is the next day & then major trash day is the next day. Cleaning, organizing, throwing out & trying to get ready for the trash day.
Night I am tired so I go back to Find A Grave.
Again, Thank You so much !!!!
Sincerely, Your Friend Laurie #47375347 = :)

 | RE: Nathaniel Gookin Thanks for pointing that out to me. Looking at the picture again in much better light, I do see the "1" and I agree with you. . . . It does look like an 18. I think I must've thought the 1 was a scratch or something when I was studying it before. Thanks again so much for your time and help - MaryAdded by MPDaviet on Apr 21, 2013 4:49 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
