Hi Amy -
I am new to this so please bear with me if this is not the right format to request a change. I looked up my grandmother's grave (Rhoda Neal Boggs) in Calvary Methodist Cemetery in Greenbrier County and someone noted that her last name is Boggess. I think they were looking at the newspaper obit which had multiple misspellings.
Anyway her name was Rhoda Belle Neal Boggs. I buried my mom in the grave next to her in 2009.

I did some research and found it so it is not necessary. The information has been added.

Could you please send me your sources for Annie Reed so that I can add your information. Thanks so much. Hope you have a great day.

I'm sorry to say I don't have any information on your family member. Good news is I didn't go through the entire cemetery. I was looking for a particular family member of mine while on vacation and once they were found, I stopped.
|Teresa Schroat||Legg Cemetery Photo Requests|
I was in this cemetery recently and found George Malcolm's headstone/marker. I looked all over for his parents and the other requests.
At George's head above him were two stone markers with no enscription. I photographed them and can provide them but am not sure that those are his parents above him.
Let me know if you would like the photos of the stones. I have unclaimed the photo request and you can decide whether to post the photo or state they have no marker. Didn't see any other Malcolm's.
Thanks and god bless.

Sorry, I didn't read down to see that Bev had already mentioned it..... Hope you're having a great week!
Thought this may be a lead on one of your folks when I saw it....

Thanks for your reply. The "duplication" just came to my attention this week so I am only now aware of any possible problems. At this point, I do not think either cemetery should be deleted. History should be left recorded and the resolution of the unforeseen "future" (forming of Lake Anna) should be left for families of those "buried" in the new location. For historical purposes, and until I can make contact with the historical society, I suggest that a brief explanation be placed on the cemetery description page of each cemetery, including the date the explanation was placed on the page. ALSO, discovered recently, it does appear that there are surname errors in the original transcription (1937)....PATTIE should read POTTIE. For some reason, my attempt to contact you through your edit feature yesterday, was blocked. I will try again. Have a WONDERFUL day!

Would you please help with understanding of this cemetery and the Jerdone Castle Graveyard? The memorial pages I created for the burials in Jerdone Castle Graveyard seem to be duplicated by the burials you have created for Pottie Family Cemetery. I used a transcription completed in the 1930s for creation of the memorial pages. I noticed that your source was published in 1984. Is it possible that Pottie Family Cemetery was created immediately before the lake came in to accommodate the established burials at Jerdone Graveyard and these are duplicate burials of the original Jerdone Castle Graveyard? I would appreciate your response.
