I have been doing genealogy research since 1995. I am a stay-at-home Mom with 2 young children so my time is limited, but I would be willing to help someone with a picture of a grave.

Kathleen: Would love to know how you found AAA in Philadelphia, or who that was you found. AAA was born in Roxbury, MA, in Oct. 1867, to Ivers Whitney Adams and Sarah Shepard Adams. He did marry Nellie May and you can see the marriage in a newspaper article of 1898 (in Brooklyn). His gravesite is in New Cemetery, Ashburnham, MA. The question is where in New York did AAA die and what day. Those things are missing from either NY or MA vital stats. If you have a "January XX, 1933" please tell me from where. The cemetery folks have few records (possible fire way back) but they do have January 14, 1933, maybe that was the burial date. I have AAA in New York into 1930s. Right now there is no "in stone" date for AAA's death. The headstone just says "1933."

Thanks for your time.

Emma A Storer Banks
Hello Kathleen,

I saw your post on Find A Grave regarding Emma A Storer Banks, #22319257. You have listed that she married Samuel Banks on 30 Jul 1901. On Samuel Elba Banks #120014067, that person/creator gives the marriage date as 28 Jul 1897. Do you have a source for your date? I'm confused.

Thank you,
Judy Newman

Good afternoon Sir/Ma'am. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to contact Forest Home Cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) for your photo request(s), ask them whether or not there is a grave marker, and then either post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Forest Home is a massively humongous cemetery with well over 100,000 burials, and the information is vital in order to photograph a grave for you. Forest Home disavows all photo volunteers, refusing to aid them in finding graves, so your mission is indispensable and integral to helping fulfill your photo request. Should you choose not to accept this mission, your photo request will most likely continue to go unfulfilled. This message will not self destruct in five seconds. Good luck! Ace

From the Find A Grave Dossier: All personnel are advised that Find A Grave states it is the responsibility of the photo requestor to provide the grave plot (section and lot number) to assist the volunteer photographers.

Mission Success: Last year I successfully completed 200 photo missions at just Forest Home that had the grave location information provided by the photo requestor. In just over a year I have victoriously concluded 900 photo missions with 150 triumphs already in 2014.

Reminder for D. C. Freeman
Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.

Thank you! Ace

Hi! Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 150 graves that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

Berry C Ely
Hi Kathleen,
Wondered if you might make these additions to Berry Clent Ely's memorial page. He was the son of Docky Pyett Ely # 35445577 and Valerie Carrie Meador(s) Ely # 46749748. His sister Peal Ely Tong Samples is listed as # 60531475, brother Herod M Ely # 32601282. Herod is mentioned in the obituary posted by Ralph Terry on Berry's memorial Page. He also had a sister, Barnettie Ely, whose grave has not been found and two other brothers not mentioned above, Clarence George Ely and Raleigh Walter Ely. You can verify this information by checking the 1900, 1910 census. Dock Ely remarried before 1910 as his wife died in 1904, but his 6 children plus children by his second wife are living with him
in the 1910 census. There are step brothers and sisters that I will not mention at this time as I have not researched them thoroughly. I am related through the Meador line of Berry's mother's family.

Grave Marker #21686970

I'm curious about the info attached to Pauline Greenhood Jacob's grave - about her parents. Are you a descendant too? Pauline had a sister Rachel and she was my great-grandmother.
