Bio

I come from a long, long line of German and Irish ancestors mainly (& Scots) who came to America through Philadelphia and NYC respectively. The majority settled in NE Pennsylvania coal region towns, the Germans in the first half of the 1700s and the Irish in the 1800s. My closest line of relatives left Pa. and NY to settle in NJ, in the first quarter of the 1900s. I am a Jersey girl, born and raised here, but I love my Pennsylvania roots, too!
Surnames in my line include: MALONE (Schaeffer, O'Donnell, Hischon, Rooney, Brady and McPhillips) as well as MCKELVEY (Turnbach/Dornbach, Bitler, Mulherrin, Cole, Gallagher, McCauley).
