Photo: Standing behind our family Patriot - Thomas Durfee, Esq. with my daughter and "cemetery buddy" Tara.|
Findagrave is such a valuable tool and helped me while researching for my DAR application. I had no idea where my Patriot, Thomas Durfee was buried until someone posted a photo on findagrave. We just HAD to go visit the site for ourselves!
I am willing to do photo requests anywhere in Rhode Island.
I initially began taking photos of ancestors, but have enjoyed adding others as well to this website.

Thanks for clarifying that. Good to go.

|rkclove||RE: Stanislaw, Apolonia and Rudolph Grzyb's Headstone Photo|
Thank you Julie! That headstone photo helped me verify some relationships in my trees that also agreed with census records and as it turns out, there is another pic you took that I hope you will allow me to use in my trees, Stanley L Grzyb's headstone photo (again, I will be sure to note that you were the photographer--can't thank you enough!) --Stanley L Jr is also a son of Stanislaw and Apolonia Simawska Grzyb and he married Frances S Dragon--------some of the missing info in my tree has been closed thanks to your pics! Thrilled!!!

|sue milos||Photos of Milos headstones, RI|
Thank you so much for sharing your clear and beautiful photos of the Milos headstones in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cumberland, RI. We are so appreciative of your time and generosity.
I hope to get to RI to see them in person one day. My husband Michael and I were very happy to find the photos on the RI Historical Cemeteries website that you took of the headstones of his grandparents (Michael & Franciszka), his great uncle and aunt (Joseph & Frances), his uncles (Stan and Joseph), and more distant relatives (Joseph & Frances Lass Milos).
We both thank you so much for volunteering your time, and for sharing your work here on Find a Grave.
With much gratitude,
Sue and Michael Milos
