thank you for accepting the edits for the memorial of Sidney Smythers #76118271
|Researching||Troy Ryland Turner|
Thank you for the bio information for Mr Turner. According to the death certificate for my great grandmother who is buried in the same cemetery, the name is the Whitlow Cemetery. Have a good day

Have you actually viewed Troy's grave in the cemetery you have listed? I personally had made the mistake of using the Woolwine Cemetery for some of my own relatives. I have since found their proper burial site. This memorial is also in question.

THANK YOU FOR CATCHING MY ERROR ON THE ROY WOOD EDITS. NEVER DO THESE WHEN YOU ARE TIRED.
Thanks for the transfer. A granddaughter has requested transfer to her, so in accord with FG policy I will honor that request. Thanks for originating the memorial. hawk41

Neta was the wife of my mother's first cousin, and I knew her and her family quite well. In case you have no special interest in her, I'd be pleased to accept a transfer.

The Whitlow Cemetery to which you referred was just "created" on Find A Grave in the last few days by the individual who had listed her 15 relatives as buried in the Woolwine Cemetery erroneously. I searched that Woolwine Cemetery and found none of her people. She has since found information, a death certificate maybe, that indicated at least one of those family members was buried in the Whitlow Family Cemetery. Accordingly she created that cemetery and assigned all of her people to it. She's kept her photo request active for those folks at the "Whitlow Cemetery." I was trying to find said cemetery in any of our local papers, Ancestry, and the Patrick County cemetery inventory lists. From that search, I found that Whitlow, Griffith, Turner Family Cemetery and then searched on it and found the obituary on your Mr. Turner's page. So, had hoped you might know its location.
I'll keep looking and thank you for your prompt reply.

I came across this memorial page while looking for the location of the Whitlow-Griffith-Turner Family Cemetery in Woolwine, VA. I noted that you created the above memorial and I thought you might be able to help me.
You show Mr. Turner to be buried at the Woolwine Cemetery. The included obituary for Mr. Turner notes, however, that "Burial will follow in the Whitlow-Griffith-Turner Family Cemetery."
I am familiar with the Woolwine Cemetery, but I wonder if you happen to know the location of the Whitlow-Griffith-Turner in Woolwine.
Thank you in advance,
