I live in northeastern, Indiana I was born in central, Ohio in the early 80's. I enjoy visiting cemeteries and seeing what intresting things I can find. I am researching several family names Somerlot, Haynes, Easterday, Cloe, Garrett, Eaton, Losh, Milliner, Alexander, Conway, and Havens just to name a few. The total number is around fifty or more.|
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.

|Robert Batty||Henry Whitinger|
I am unclear as to your creator of Henry Whitinger on Find-A-Grave. The born, you say is March 16, 1793 Ohio, died December 4, 1858. The photo on the tombstone says born February 27, 1833 and died August 5, 1914. The written article says born 1792 died 1849. Can you explain the photo dates, your posted dates and the article dates. Thank You, Robert Batty email@example.com

Thanks for the pic post. I have been working on Family History and discovered that this is my 5th Great Grandparents. Very cool.

This cemetery is in serious disrepair. Of all the graves in there, only 5-6 can be read. Many of the stones are tipped over, buried, or gone. The county librarian said that the information on findagrave was probably from the 1930's WPA sheets.
|Maggie*||RE: Susan Cruse|
Not much really. My g.grandpa was born to Henry C. Cruse and Susan Kress Cruse (or aka: Susanna Kressin). They would have been in Salisbury, North Carolina at the time of his birth. I have many many relatives who were born, lived or buried in IL. as well. I haven't located them as yet.
There are a lot of Susan Cruse's tho and I am not sure my g-g-granny is the one you are looking for?
Hope this helps.
