Find A Grave has helped me so much that I have tried to pay it back by adding several hundred non family. If you see any errors please do contact me. Let me know if you want family transferred. If I am not related I most generally transfer.
Death certificates or printed obituaries not appreciated. They are seldom 100 per cent correct and Find A Grave does not encourage them.
Per the Find a Grave guidelines, please do not leave biographical information on a virtual flower. It will be reported and removed. If you have a correction, send an edit.
If you ask me to add or change any information on someone, please make sure you have documentation and not just something you saw someone put on the internet. I often get incorrect change requests.
In a letter from Find A Grave Management they stated "It is up to the originating member what
they include as long as you make sure that the names, birth and death dates/years are included in the fields available on the memorial page"
Thank you. Donna A

Thanks so much for the service you've offered by finding and photographing graves. I was very moved to find my grandparents' grave on this site. I especially appreciate your kindness in leaving a flower for them. I can only imagine that others feel the same gratitude for your kind heart and generosity. Best wishes to you.
Yes, you may use the photo of his headstone that I took. I'm a bit behind on dealing with my emails so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

Finished adding all the photos for the Allens Mills Cemetery in Industry, ME. I have two photos I need to retake and hopefully will be able to get to them in the next few weeks. One is not related, but the other is the top of a stone for the son of EF and MM Rackliff (the name is on the top). The Rackliffs who are related to the Days were pretty mixed up. I sent edit requests to the contributor and hopefully they will be straightened out. Good luck with your research!

Sounds good to me. Thank you very much!
|Karen Shear||William Thomason|
William Thomason is my 2x great grandfather. I have been looking for him since 1987 since I have not been able to afford a trip to Kansas just to find him and his family who might be buried there, I have had to search online the past 10 yrs or so. Your find a grave post is the most recent I could find on him. My line runs through his son Milton Marvin, then Milton's son Frederick is my grandfather, then my mother Anita Thomason.It's very sad he and Martha "Mattie" do not have a permanent marker. Thank you so much for finding and posting all you do.
Sincerely, Karen Spahr Shear
Thank you Donna, you have pointed me in the right direction.
