Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have had a life-long interest in genealogy and have been actively researching for more than 60 years.

I grew up in the northern Maine town of Caribou and, after graduation from the University of Maine, enjoyed a 24 year Army career in Aviation and Special Operations.

Betty (LUKE) and I married at Fort Rucker, Alabama and served in Germany, Korea, and at numerous U.S. posts. Additionally, I served in Vietnam and numerous short tours to the Middle East, Central and South America and the Horn of Africa.

Our son, Chris was born during an assignment to Germany and daughter Shari was born during our Korean assignment.

Retiring from the service in 1991; I was then employed in the homebuilding business as General Manager for three homebuilding companies before retiring in 2009.

Anyone may use the photos I have posted at FAG or at my site. Many of them have been provided to me by other people. I acknowledge the actual owners when I post and I ask that you extend the same courtesy if you use the photos yourselves.

Bartlett's
Somebody had me delete all of my work on the Bartlett's so there is no way I can change it. The Bartletts are part of my family so I am not very happy about it. I'm sorry.

Thank you so much for sending the added information on Mrs. Bolles. The quote from the bible that is inscribed on the stone was confusing to me, because it was inscribed incorrectly! I have added a note as well as giving you credit for your information for her memorial.
I really appreciate your taking the time to let me know.

Nice website created in his memory. I am glad I could add to it for you. I know that I am always thrilled when I find something new about my family. I had recently been looking for a picture of my grandmother's first husband and just found one a few days ago, so know that any gold nugget is always exciting.

I thought you might be interested to know that I added the original obituary to his memorial. It has a lot of interesting info in it. I noticed that you are probably a relative of his so I thought i would let you know so you could read it. I have the original Newspaper and took a picture of it for the memorial. You can read on the caption where I got the memorial.

Joseph Morse wife Olive and parents
Hello Paul,

Thank you so much for info on Joseph and family. We were in the east a few years ago when we were able to visit these cemeteries and get these pictures. As you know, there are so many Morse' running around and in fact are a direct line of mine. However, I did not have these in my file. Appreciate your assistance so much.

"Mattie" Elwell Noyes
Hello: I just wanted to get back to you after your kind transfer of this memorial--we had posted additional biographical info on Mattie Elwell Noyes. We still have not yet posted the photo of "Mattie," as the family is still weighing "which" photo might be best. Her life was cut short in her youth and unfortunately the details of her life are shorter than many of her siblings.
We appreciate the excellent work that your Noyes family genealogy site offers here. We have Noyes as well. If you look further on my small group of memorials you will see that a direct Noyes line that goes back to Nicholas Noyes and the first decades of the New England Salem settlement. Thank you for your help and professionalism on Find A Grave.
