Many thanks to the SAC-senders and image-contributors for generously donating time to make memorials more accurate and more complete.

Phony "rules." A few Gravers create faux rules, like "no death certificates on my memorials," despite the fact that the FAQs are perfectly clear: "Death certificates may be added...." Maybe these folks missed the "follow the rules" and "play nicely with others" lessons in kindergarten.

Editorial. One of the joys of Find A Grave is that some contributors like to use computer databases to create thousands of memorials, some enjoy taking photos of tombstones, others are happiest linking memorials, and some add images of documents that further enhance our understanding of the decedents' lives. Instead of complaining about how we don't like what somebody else does with a memorial, let's be grateful for the diversity of contributions.

Catherine Wickersham
Thanks for the heads up on Catherine Wickersham. Census shows she married Isaac Wickersham. I live 10 miles from Red Oak, Iowa and will check out the real spelling when I get to the court house. I also fixed her father's grave. Both problems solved, so you can delete your two memorials. Thanks for all your help.

RE: Sarah/Sara Cason memorial
Jay, Thanks for the clarification on the memorial page. I find that names or other information that is different on a STONE receive "requests for correction" unless an explanation is made.

Bittelmeyer
Hello,
My name is Jennifer Longardner, nee Bittelmeyer. I noticed you have documented several grave sites for my Bittelmeyer relatives buried in Highland, Ohio. You reference a book as citation for the burials. I am extremely interested in this book for documentation. I already have photos of the headstones but would love to know the book or documents you have seen.

Thanks,
jennlong

Ann Pusey - London Grove
Hello,
I can not help with birth info.... but according to New Garden MM records.
" Ann Pusey, wife of Caleb Pusey Senior, dyed the 5th day of the 12th month, 1725/6 and buried the 8th of the same month"
This date of passing is "Old Style" and not converted. The converted date would be Feb 25th of 1725. The new calendar year would begin in March (1726).
She passed in Chester Co, PA.
Blessings,
L

RE: Miles H. Blackburn
Hi Jay,
I can confirm that Miles H. Blackburn
Find A Grave Memorial# 147920277 was not the Civil War veteran of the 197th Ohio.

Here is the correction I posted on the Ancestry Civil War record of Miles Blackburn: "This is not Miles H Blackburn born 1811 in Virginia. This Miles Blackburn was age 19 in 1865. You can view the roster by visiting http://www.civilwarindex.com/armyoh/rosters/197th_oh_infantry_roster.pdf

Thomas M Johnson. I hope you don't mind my adding the newspaper clipping. I think they are so cool. I agree with you, concerning the people espousing "faux rules". I try not to let it irritate me.
