I transfer all memorials of people who are not related to me to other contributors who will take care of them until family requests them. The memorials I have kept are mostly my grandparents or those of my husband and I will not be transferring those.|
DO NOT take my photos without giving me proper credit. You may use my photos on any website or in your own personal records as long as a photo credit is given back to me.
My current project is the Ft. Supply Insane Asylum Cemetery. The Insane Asylum was opened in 1908. There's a long history of mistreatment and abuse of the inmates up until the 60s or so. Inmates were buried with simple concrete markers, the majority of which have been damaged. I have been working with the graves list and have spent an enormous amount of time piecing together stone fragments and matching people to a stone and a lot number. Everyone deserves to be known by someone and many of these people were forgotten long ago.

Could you give me directions to this cemetery? I know of the one in Custer county, but I can't seem to find this one in Blaine county on a map. Thank you.

You posted two photos of the graves of Lawrence Arvin Neely and Raymond Neely. These were apparently transferred to "Cookie", who has since passed on.
I am trying to find members of Raymond Neely's family. The headstone says: "Our Dad, Raymond Neely".
Thank you for all the work you've done to post these photos.

Thank you so much for the photo of the Nortons' headstone. I really appreciate it. Would it be OK for me to use the photo on my Ancestry.com private tree? I would give you credit. Thanks again.

When I was in the Navy I had a very good friend, Rosanna Pedro, when I got out I visited the Arapaho Reservation and met her Dad, John Pedro, and her Grandmother..I spent two weeks on the Reservation. John Pedro was a WWII vet who lost his leg in Poland and he was well versed in the Polish language. Can you tell me if he is buried in the Arapaho Cemetery? I believe he was the Chief when I was there in 1963. My email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you for any information you can give me..Jeri

Thank you for transferring the links to those who have memorials for the children of Evan and Cynthia Compton and asking them to link the family members.
|P Holland Mackey||Hello!|
You posted a photo of the plot space for Beulah Beatrice Hutchison Presley, my grandmother. I read your bio that says you were working on the memorizing the patients at the Insane Assylum, so you probably are not related to Beulah, but I thought I would ask. My grandmother spent a number of years there. I think she was bi-polar. If you are related, I would love to get acquainted. Just so you know, my mom is having a marker made for Beulah, and plans to have it placed by Memorial Day.
Thank you for your work to honor the forgotten ones. Many blessings!
