I have been doing my genealogy now, for almost 20 years.. the chase is almost as much fun as finding those elusive relatives. I am always looking for new cousins.. |
I do this for fun and to help others in their quests as people have helped me.
If I accept your photo request, please be patient. I go to the cemetery more than once to get the best possible picture with the best possible lighting. Sometimes this means I use the entire two weeks allotted to me as I work fulltime and weekends are best to get the lighting that will make the stones the most readable.
When doing a photo request, I will always check the area for more members of the family or take the others in the plot and post those as well. If you want a high-resolution image, I keep the photo, so please let me know.
I do carry tools to clean around the stones, trim grass and sweep away dead grass, etc. I know what kind of picture I would like to have, and do my best to get the same for you. Some of my earlier attempts are not as clear, so if it is local, I can certainly retake them.
Use of my pictures (unaltered) for your family trees, both personal and on Ancestry is certainly acceptable. All I ask is that you give credit where credit is due and not claim them for your own. Please note where you got them from and leave my watermark on them. If you want to use them in a family book, please ask.
TRANSFERS: I will gladly transfer ownership of any memorial that is not family, if you kindly follow the process. I do not feel that you have to be a close relative to care about putting information on the memorials.
Please send any updates through the "suggest a correction or provide additional information" link on the memorial.
Get a ladder and get over it!

Thank you! Great research and I am so appreciative! Yes, I would love more information on Watson. My regular email is email@example.com, if you would like to use that one instead of my Find A Grave. I wasn't notified you had written. Have a great day and thanks again! Jennifer

Thank you for your response. I will keep looking for the submitter of that bio info. And, again, thank you for your contributions.

Thank you so much for the headstone photo for William. It was interesting to see the spelling of Yancy on the stone. I really appreciate your photography and all the work you do for researchers.

Thank you for the photo! Do you by any chance know who added the bio info on her memorial site? I have asked ProgBase, and his suggestion did not pan out. Just a wild thought of mine, that you might have info on this family.
I certainly appreciate all you do for family researchers.

Thank You for taking your time to take this picture of Roscoe and Idas Grave Marker.
|Joe & Linda (Ashley) Conroy||Petrusky Request|
Would you mind adding the fine pictures you took for Margaret Conroy's marker to the memorial for her husband, Richard Petrusky (65231779), or alternatively, I can add them myself. Would simply like to make sure his photo is current as well. Just wanted to make sure you were okay with the request.
Thanks so much!
|Joe & Linda (Ashley) Conroy||Conroy Photo Requests|
Can't thank you enough for your efforts to get the photos for Stephen and Margaret Conroy. The pictures look great! Appreciate that you also included a photo of the plot layout, for context. The family is very grateful.
