I've been researching my family tree and those of others for about 28 years. I taught genealogy classes for several years while living in Colorado Springs and learned from one of the best, my mentor Bonnie. There have been a few slow years when I began raising my children by myself, however, whether it has been scanning and recording pictures, headstones or many hours reading microfilm, microfiche and now the wonderful world of the internet, I find it amazing how involved I keep myself.|
While surfing the internet one evening, I came across this website and instantly became hooked. Our past is very important and every person was once someone very special to someone else. For all of you that have done the work for my family, I say whole-heartedly Thank You! You are truly the best!
I love going to cemeteries and marveling at the older headstones each one having a distinctive character to it much like the memory of the person for which it honors. As I come across the headstones of family, I also find friends, military and just simply interesting memorials that I have photographed. I am very fortunate that my daughter Jessy loves going with me. It's not only a time for us to be together, it's also community service that is truly a labor of love.
Keeping in mind that genealogy is not an exact science there is always room for improvements. If someone has anything to add or correct for anyone I have posted, please let me know by using the edit tab. And if there are any photos of your loved ones that you would like for your family album, please feel free to copy. Thank you!

Thank you for posting my grandfathers headstone Virgil M Sidley WW2 Navy Veteran, I haven't logged in here in a while and have been receiving many requests for my area. Now I know how it feels to have a total stranger post a family headstone I am even more excited to go out and take pictures now as I feel the joy others feel.

Thank you so much for transferring my GG Uncle's Find A Grave memorial to me, now I can add and connect family information. Have a wonderful day and God bless you.
I am soooooooooo sorry...I don't think I ever thanked you for posting the photo of the grave marker for my sister in law, Helen Victoria vonGunden Smith Bolton.
My total lack of response is in no way a reflection on my appreciation...it is immeasurable.
What you do touches both lives and hearts.
I am adding you to my list of Find A Grave friends and hope you will do the same with me.
Thank you so very much.
With sincerest regards,
