Retirement has let me really work on my genealogy research. My concentration is families in Titus and Franklin Counties. Families are so intermingled in these counties through marriage. Really trying to ensure all cemeteries in these counties are in Find-a-grave. I love when other researchers provide me with new information. Just ask and I will try and help you whenever possible.

Sarah Wood (Dorcus) Lann

I solved the mystery on the name you have for this memorial. You have 2 wives names combined. The wives of Henry J. Lann are:

1st Wife: Dorcas (Edgar) Lann
2nd Wife: Sarah E. (Wood) Lann

The name for this memorial #65137759 should be Sarah E. (Wood) Lann

I'm thinking that Dorcas (Edgar) Lann may be buried in the same cemetery, but I can't find any records. If there is any way that you could verify that Dorcas is buried at Damascus Cemetery, I would appreciate it. If you can't find a Dorcas, maybe try looking for all the Lann's buried there? Dorcas is my GG Grandmother. It would be nice to know where her final resting place is. Any help is appreciated.

Thank You,

Sarah Wood (Dorcus) Lann

May I ask where you got the information on the name for Sarah Wood (Dorcus) Lann? The memorial id is 65137759. This is my GG Grandmother and we are all stuck on her ancestry line. I have one death cert for her daughter Ora Bell (Lann) McCroy and it states her maiden name is Dorcus Edgar. Not sure why there are 2 surnames, but none of us can find anything. We also don't have any documentation with the name Sarah Wood on it. Please let me know how you got this name for her as it may open the door for her ancestry line. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Today I was at Rose Hills and was able to photograph Samuel's headstone. Next to him was Gle so I also photographed his headstone. I will add it to his memorial or create one.
take care

Jenetta Garner Cox
The Garners moved from Franklin County, AR to Yell County about 1840. At the time of the move, it may have been Scott Co since Yell was made about that time.

Jenetta and Turner B Cox
Parks Cemetery, Nola, Scott Co, AR.

Jenetta was a sister to my great grandfather, George Garner. On the Parks Plot Map, there is a burial spot listed for her next to a Cox grave but there is no grave marker. I could not find a plot number for Turner B. I plan to make a small marker for them and place them where Jenetta's plot is.

Any suggestions?

RE: Peter and Elizabeth Cox
Turner B. Cox was married to my Great Grandfather George Garner's sister - Jenetta Cox. I could locate no marker on info on Turner B. but I know that Jenetta is buried at Parks Cemetery, Nola, Scott Co., AR so I placed Turner B. there also.
