My member #47366276. If your Sampson C Dahmer is the son of Martin Dahmer #140297896, Members of that family are recorded on find a grave.
I am researching my father's mother's family: Martin Dahmer 1805-1860, his wife Sarah Hevener 1807-?. Their children: Mary 1829, John 1832, George 1832, Reuben 1834, Henry 1836, Martha 1838, William H. 1841, SAMPSON C. Is this Sampson your grandfather? I have found info on all the Martin Dahmer children except for Sampson.

Do you have info that you might share regarding Capt. Edwin H. Simon's military service? I'm trying to gather info for a data base of the bombardment group in which he may have belonged.
I have a copy of general order no. 205, dated 1-Dec-44 which contains his name among others.
I hope to hear from you soon.
