I've been hooked on genealogy since I was in 4-H in elementary school and took Genealogy as one of my projects. That's been ages ago, and I am happy to say I've still got the fever. Currently a full time career woman, mom, and wife, I try to spend as much time researching historical information as I can squeeze into my life of details and duties. Please let me know how I can help you with your search.|

Thank you so very much for taking this photo, and the other family stones you posted. They are great quality, and it looks like it was a beautiful day to be in a cemetery. I do appreciate your dedication and time. Kay

Thank you so much for the great photo of the headstone. Your help shows this may not be the correct person, since we show he was KIA. We'll have to do some more research and sort this out.
Was there a veteran's flag holder at the headstone?
Thanks again for the time and effort to get this picture!

|Cynthia Schenck||Jacob Rumple, Loudon Twp. cemetery, Fostoria, Ohio|
I have the following information from my great aunt: "Copied from the gravestone of Jacob and Mary Rumple by Elsie Rosenberger Coats: "Behold, my friends, as you pass by. As you are now so once was I. As I am now, you must be. Prepare for death and follow me" "Blessed are the dead Who die in the Lord".
He is my 4th great grandfather.
I was so glad to see that his memorial already existed!
Do you know if the stone still exists?
