My husband is so understanding as we do our genealogy, plus stopping at cemeteries to fulfill photo requests for other people. |
I retired in 2007 from Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission, Lincoln, Nebraska. My husband retired after 20 years in the U.S. Army and then from Nebraska Corrections. After our retirement, we moved to my hometown in south central Nebraska.
If you find any mistakes, want additional information or an obituary added, please send the suggestion through the edit tab on the memorial and I will revise &/or add the information. Since many volunteers create memorials that aren't relatives, it makes it much easier if we don't have to go "hunting" for the memorial you are referring to.
A BIG thank you to all of the fellow findagravers that add my suggestions, and, especially, the obits so that many individuals can benefit from them on their search.
Please consider any pictures that I have taken as yours...I am the messenger and believe that they belong to the family.
Families I have researched & continue to research:
My biological family = Hewgley, Glancy, Metz, Waterman, Lyman, Eley, Reed, Drennan/Drennon/Drenan/Drenon
My adopted family = Bargen, Green, Demilt, Whiteley, Allen, Lyman, Power, Shaw
My husband's family = Duey, Norlund, George, Wolf, Cornman/Corman, Burgess, Call, Kent, Elder, Pfaff,

It looks like you have a bunch in Pennsylvania. I have been tracking my Cornman Tree since the mid 1990's when research was a lot more difficult. I have a lot of Cornman's on my Find A Grave site. come visit me. Have a great day

I am interested in this memorial for Helen Irene Gingrich. I see that you maintain this memorial page for her. Are you related? I am looking for my relative Helen Irene Lewis born 30 June 1898 in Jewell, Kansas. The last trace I found of her was in the 1940 Census in Hastings, Nebraska. She was 41 years old at the time. Could this Helen Irene Gingrich be the same individual? I appreciate any help you can give me with this problem.

Hi Peggy, Thank you for linking her to her father.
Hulda married first Dandridge B Clasby on 7 Jun 1849 in Spencer Co, IN After his death she married
Hugh L Galbreath 21 Nov 1876 in Mississippi Co, MO
I don't know why she is buried with Clasby name.
Hope this information will help relatives find her.
Thank you, again, Karen

I went out today to photograph these grave sites for you. Unfortunately, none of these graves have a headstone. I did include pictures of the grave area as I had an exact location. It is common for this cemetery as it has many unmarked graves.
|The Secret Garden||RE: Ring memorial|
At the bottom of the page it says
|The Secret Garden||Ring memorial|
Peggy, the information I sent you to edit the William Ring and parents memorials came from, Who's Who in Nebraska - Thayer County. There is a lot more info there except the date William Ring died. Just to let you know.
|Ruth Ann Roberts Coker||Sophrona Ann (Padgett) Baker|
I was able to obtain Sophrona's obituaries. I will type then in later. I first want to find what happened to her husband and son. Also, I want to find the obituary of her brother, Charles W. Padgett. Slowly but surely. lol
