Bio Photo Sadie E (Richardson) Williams Allen

I was born in Grandview(home of my father) and raised in Itasca (home of my mother). My father is the late Elijah Richardson, Jr and my mother is the late Freddie Mae Price Richardson.

I am attempting to manage the memorials of my relatives...not to build a family tree, but to be able to efficiently impart information that is more than just vital statistics.

I am willing to photograph tombstones in my area of Hill County but because of chronic arthritis in my lower back, I am limited in how much and how far I can walk. Therefore, a cemetery plat, map or a burial plot number would be helpful in locating the grave without too much pain on my part. :)

At present, I'm claiming those with plot numbers. This summer I will try to clear out the others who are harder to find.

UPDATE: I'm back up and out there. I photographed 9 tombstones today and will clear out, hopefully, all of the remaining requests in the days/weeks/months to come...just bear with me. :)

I was out there last weekend trying to fill some of the many requests, I got maybe 8 or so.
After I returned home, I read your comments on a couple of failed locations where U noted that the cemetery has a written record of placements but they wouldn't let ya borrow the map.
I really would like to view, but not take possession, of that map so the question is, can U tell me where to go or who to contact for that purpose ??

RE: Whitley Family
Hi Sadie! I was going aback through my messages, and it didn't look like I sent a reply with my thanks, so I wanted to do that! I will try to keep you posted when I learn more about this particular branch of my son-in-law's family!

But once again, many thanks for the work that you and your friends do!!

I am so sorry I did not transfer her to you until now. I was deleting old emails and found this. My husband died 3 days before this request and I must confess I was quite out of my mind at the time. I am OK now and thank you for your friendship. :).

RE: Sampson Whitley: #116941443
I am sorry, Sadie, that I just now looked at my messages here! I will have to gather up more info about Sampson, and find a way to share it with you.

I did find a death certificate for him online at one website.

He is my son-in-law's gr-grandfather. Or maybe it is gr-gr-grandfather. I am pretty sure that most of the rest of the family moved to Arkansas at some point, so that may be why the 80 somethings are drawing a blank. I think my son-in-law's grandma is in her mid 70's and has lived in Arkansas for a long time.

I will get back with you, and many THANKS!!

I have about half of them done and will try to finish later today. It occurred to me that you might have information that conflicts with what I have posted and please feel no conflict about changing what I have. I worked from death certificates and made a 'best guess' as to burial site when it wasn't specified.

I'm glad that it seems your back if feeling better. I, too, have similar problems and don't do much photographing any more.

Best regards,

I have quite a few so it will bump up your number of managed memorials. I am not a 'collector' of memorials as some are and am happy for any interested family member or friend to have the management. I will get them done ASAP.

I am not related to the family in any way that I know of. I became interested in the Latson family in working on a different project and I went back and put in memorials for all I could find using death certificates. Since you are a member of the family, I would be glad to transfer my Latson memorials to you if you want. Otherwise, they will remain in my care.

Best regards,
