Being both a genealogist and a "graver," I believe in tracing a person's history from birth to grave. Everybody deserves to be remembered; to have a marker or memorial to mark their passing from this world into the next. |
If I have input an immediate relative of yours (child, spouse, sibling, parents, uncle/aunt, grandparents - well you get the idea), and you do not want that person's memorial on this website, please let me know, and I will remove it promptly.
PROBLEMS/CORRECTIONS: Please let me know - I strive for accuracy. If something bothers you about a memorial, please let me know. I believe that the wishes of the descendants should be considered as well.
PHOTOS OF THE PEOPLE: I realize that this is a publicly viewable website, but out of courtesy, please ask before copying photos of the people.
PHOTOS OF THE GRAVES: Feel free to use them for your genealogical uses (but not commercial). All I ask, if you are using a photo that I took, please credit me as the photographer. ("Photo courtesy of findagrave.com contributor, B. MacBean.")
TRANSFERS: This site is not for "name collectors," but if the memorial is not a relative of mine, and he/she is a close relative of yours, I will be happy to transfer to you.

Hello Ben. Thank you for the links to Walter A. Martin's parents. I can't remember if you are related to the Martins. Walter A. Martin was the father-in-law of my great aunt, Vera G. Jones Martin. So I'm not blood related to Mr. Martin. If you are related and want me to transfer this memorial to you, I'll be glad to do so. Thanks again for your submissions. I apologize for taking so long to get the obit posted. -Jennifer McBride

|Cathie Plaehn||Stella and Chester Whittier?|
Are you sure Chester and Stella are buried in Farmington, MN?
There are many Whittiers in the Corinthian Cemetery, but I haven't found these two.
I did however find a person at the County museum who thinks she has a picture of Chester as a child, which she got through a mother in law who worked for the Whittiers. She is going to get me the picture if she can find it. I will pass it on to you if she finds it.
|Paul Prosperie||B.F. and Miss Jack McDonough|
I am currently researching both father and daughter. I find both their stories fascinating. Could you share your sources for both?
April 21 is the Beaumont (Texas) Heritage Society's Magnolia Cemetery Tour. I would like to talk about the headstone/ memorial for Jack, located behind the fireman's plot. Is this a memorial or a headstone?
|Dennis Pleau||Alexander Reid|
Alexander was cremated and his ashes were buried above Lucy Goure. Lucy has a headstone and Alexander does not. I can post a picture of Lucy's headstone or report it as an unmarked grave.
Let me know.

|Bill Bates||Panter photo|
Hi, B. MacBean,
I have replaced the photo with one that shows the correct color of the grave marker.
Have an awesome day,
|Bill Bates||RE: Request|
Sure, you may use my photo(s) as you like.
However, if you'll wait a week or so, I'll go back at a different time of day and try to take better photos. These had sun glare and look a bit whiter/lighter than they really are.
Have an awesome day,

I am trying to help a descendant of Rosa and Collis' find Blanchette's Cove.
I was wondering if you've ever come across information that pinpointed it on a map.

|Wampawells||James Bean Query|
Your info on James Bean was very helpful. I'm a Ph d Candidate working on how men and women in early america negotiated the experiences of excommunication, and was wondering where you got the primary sources on James Bean from, as I'd like to take a looksee at them. Do you know if the Brentwood Quaker minutes are still in existence?
