I am a native of Omaha, Nebraska. I got started studying my genealogy when my uncle presented my family with a notebook containing photos and notes on my paternal grandmother's origins in Germany by way of rural Missouri. I was fascinated, and it planted the seed in me which blossomed into a passion for history and culture.|

- Paternal grandmother's relatives
- Maternal relatives
I am amassing virtual cemeteries of my relatives. If I request management of a page, it is because the person was a relative (usually a cousin), and I want to provide links and information on that person on a long-term basis. I DO NOT collect non-relatives as a rule, nor do I do bulk surname searches. I am fully aware of F-A-G guidelines; it is YOUR prerogative if you'd like to transfer to me.
That said, I am also seeking direct descendants of the deceased to take over the pages from me. I will gladly transfer grave management to anyone who requests it who can first demonstrate a closer relationship to the deceased than mine, so PLEASE do not hesitate to ask. My research has enabled many F-A-G users to find their loved ones and launch their own genealogical searches. This to me is just an awesome and rewarding part of working on this site. I'm especially interested in linking infants' graves to their parents, since these children often go unrecorded in census records, genealogies, etc.
*UPDATE 04/18/2013: I have finished my genealogical research on several family branches that I have acquired but am not directly related to. From here on, I am seeking direct descendants or close relatives to take over management of the following families: Bockoven, Jacobberger, Majnarič/Majnarich/Mainarich/Maynarich/Minarich, and Mladinič/Mladenich/Mladinich. Thanks! :)
**UPDATE 04/01/2014: I have acquired a bunch of Coates (with an S) from Mount Royal Cemetery in Montréal, Québec, and I'm now seeking direct descendants. Thank you. :)

Hi Trish, Sorry it took me awhile to make the transfer. I wanted to provide a better picture. When I took the original my camera was acting up and the picture was blurry.

I am interested in Coate. Our family has them as Coats. Did they change their name or is it misspelled. Sylvester Coate married my great-aunt Nellie Gray.
|Anita||Peggy & Maurice Hassett|
I was just wondering how you're related to Peggy and Maurice?

|Joel Shore||Mary Hassett (1847) at Mt Hope|
Here is a copy of the problem report that I submitted for this request:
Mary Hassett who died at age 29 of consumption is buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, as this entry in the Mt Hope Interment Records indicates: http://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc1/00000147.pdf
You can read about St. Patrick's Cemetery and why the burials in that cemetery are recorded in the Mt Hope Interment Records here: http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/st-pat.htm but the short story is that there going to be no surviving marker for her unless she was reburied in a family plot in Holy Speulchre Cemetery, although there is a generic memorial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery for those who were removed from St Patrick's Cemetery when remains were transferred to Holy Sepulchre.
