I am a native of Omaha, Nebraska. I got started studying my genealogy when my uncle presented my family with a notebook containing photos and notes on my paternal grandmother's origins in Germany by way of rural Missouri. I was fascinated, and it planted the seed in me which blossomed into a passion for history and culture.|

I am amassing virtual cemeteries of my relatives. If I request management of a page, it is because the person was a relative (usually a cousin), and I want to provide links and information on that person on a long-term basis. I DO NOT collect non-relatives as a rule, nor do I do bulk surname searches. I am fully aware of F-A-G guidelines; it is YOUR prerogative if you'd like to transfer to me.
That said, I am also seeking direct descendants of the deceased to take over the pages from me. I will gladly transfer grave management to anyone who requests it who can first demonstrate a closer relationship to the deceased than mine, so PLEASE do not hesitate to ask. My research has enabled many F-A-G users to find their loved ones and launch their own genealogical searches. This to me is just an awesome and rewarding part of working on this site. I'm especially interested in linking infants' graves to their parents, since these children often go unrecorded in census records, genealogies, etc.
*UPDATE 04/18/2013: I have finished my genealogical research on several family branches that I have acquired but am not directly related to. From here on, I am seeking direct descendants or close relatives to take over management of the following families: Bockoven, Jacobberger, Majnarič/Majnarich/Mainarich/Maynarich/Minarich, and Mladinič/Mladenich/Mladinich. Thanks! :)
**UPDATE 04/01/2014: I have acquired a bunch of Coates (with an S) from Mount Royal Cemetery in Montréal, Québec, and I'm now seeking direct descendants. Thank you. :)

Arnold Rehagen just died, so his date of death may not yet be inscribed, but I'll provide a picture asap. Also, I am still waiting for Gertrude Kaemmerien's date of death to be inscribed, although the marker, which is flush to the ground,is covered with snow right now, so it may be a while yet.
|Jim C.||RE: James D. Hassett|
Is James D. Hassett related to the Ireland family? What was his wife's name if he was married? The 1920 census for Healdsburg, CA shows David Ireland living in the same household as Jay and Grace Hassett. David is listed as the father-in-law of Jay which makes him the father of Grace. Grace Hassett is buried next to David Ireland. The problem is that there is one other burial in this plot of a man who died in 1933. I suspect that the name James D. Hassett is not correct. Can you shed any additional light on this issue? Thanks.

You have requested a photo of the grave marker for James D. Hassett, who died in 1933. Are you sure that this is the individual that you want? Oak Mound Cemetery has a record for a James T. Hassett who died in 1953. Thanks.

I have no idea how I entered those dates, too late of a night I guess. I added that memorial just a few days ago from the photo's I took that day. I have corrected the dates. My wife and i are taking all the photo's at Oakland and getting them entered. When we started we thought that there would be several names that weren't there, but we had no idea that in 4 months we would add 7000 names to the cemetery. I have been checking and adding names, but am way behind on getting the pictures added. Thanks for the heads up on the dates. If there any memorials that you would want transferred from Oakland just let me know. David Sharp
|Ron Rader||John F. Coate photo request|
I have taken photos of John Coate's stone at Pleasant Hill. The stone has toppled off its base and 'was' lying embedded in the ground. It apparently has been that way for a while. I rolled the stone over on its side to make sure that it was John's stone.
I can post my photos on his memorial, but it will not be a good representation of what his stone really looks like. I was able to roll the stone over, but it was much too heavy for me to pick up by myself and place it back on its base.
Someone who oversees the cemetery should be able to do this, but it would need to be reported. I'm not sure who is in charge of Pleasant Hill. I am waiting for the courthouse in Harrison county to get back to me. Hopefully they can furnish a name of the caretaker for the cemetery.
Please let me know if you still want me to post the photos.
It is closed and overgrown with vegetation. Go to this site for information:

I saw where you are looking for a photo of Agnes Plassmeyer. Jean Buersmeyer posted her memorial and her memorial # is 81401724. Agnes is buried next to her first husband.. Crede.
I cannot find her at this site. An other paper search is also nil, any help?
