I will be happy to transfer a memorial to a relative (most of the time, your husband's great aunt may be an issue, or your 6th greatgrandmother who you share with 645 other descendents). I also give you permission to use any photos I take for other geneological purposes, such as posting on ancestry.com, etc. You do not have permission, however, to use it on a duplicate entry that you made.
Just a note on photos: Pictures taken at the National Cemetery were taken during overcast days, which works better with my camera. Also, if you want to see a larger picture, click on the Photos tab at the memorial and you can read the enlarged one.
As another side note about photos, I took many photos straight on and found my reflection in many of them. I had to delete those and retake them. This is true for black, grey and sometimes red stones. That is why I take photos from an angle. Also, the pictures uploaded have to be 750 KB or less (600 x 800), so they are small. I don't clean the stones.
This from FAQs:
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
You should not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary. Some obituaries that were published in 1922 or earlier are now in the public domain. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family with assistance from the funeral home. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example "Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007". Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission. If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published.
Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave as the newspaper company owns that copyright.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

The church of Latter Day Saints on Limekiln Pike in Dresher, PA 19025 is having a seminar in tracing/connection/researching family history.
It's from 9-2 and is in parts, so you can choose which parts you want to attend.

I've been researching my family and Elizabeth and Peter Kleitsch are my cousins. Could I have their graves transferred to me? I'd like to associate them to the rest of the family and add their bios.
The grave #a are: 108527334 & 108527336.
thank you so much for finding them!!
Becky, You advised that the above number was a duplicate for Albert Schoellhammer. I deleted it. Thanks for the heads up.

I want to thank you for uploading my father's gravestone. We have not had a chance to return to see the stone. Because you were so kind, we have found out they spelled our last name wrong. Thanks again.
|Joan Pacitti||Donald Carl Smith's memorial|
Hi Rebecca: Donald Carl Smith's memorial number is 43419952 created by me on 10/22/2009.
Same memorial created by Buddy - No. 63700283 entered on 6/3/11.
Going back and looking at both of them, there is a difference. Buddy's entry lists Mr. Smith's rank at the top of the memorial and has a different bio. Perhaps Buddy didn't find mine, because of the military title.
If Buddy is the person I remember, we corresponded sometimes regarding memorials on FindAGrave. He was a good man.

Rebecca, would you delay in putting in & transferring ownership, there are some questions. Carolyn
|Joan Pacitti||Donald Carl Smith's memorial|
Hi Rebecca: I added the information you provided me for Mr. Smith. I discovered that there's another entry for him and you added the photo of Mr. Smith's gravestone on the 2nd entry. That entry was done after mine, and unfortunately, this gentleman (Buddy) has passed away. If you want to, you can put the photo of Mr. Smith's gravestone to the memorial I created.
I'm glad for the information on taking photos of black stones. My nephew's stone is black and we found out that if you don't stand in a different direction or angle, you do get a reflection. You mentioned other colors such as red. I don't think I've seen a red stone.

You accidentally picked up wrong dates for
Donald W Saville -- the headstone in your gravestone
picture is correct, though. 1928 birth and 1998 death.
