"We can't resist this rifling around in the past, sifting the untrustworthy evidence, linking stray names and questionable dates and anecdotes together, hanging on to threads, insisting on being joined to dead people and therefore to life."

Thank you for deleting your memorial. I have requested a change in her name. Keep your fingers crossed!
Thank you for getting the photo for all of us
|GMG||Paul Livingston Grier|
Many thanks for linking Paul Livingston Grier to his parents and wife. You might want to add Paul to your virtual "Librarian" cemetery; for many years he was Librarian at Hampton-Sydney College.
Your work here at Find-a-Grave is invaluable to individuals like me doing family research. ~ with appreciation, George Gaston

Hello! Yes she is located next to Mary E.& Volney Bass.
My File Picture #37 & #38 are of the marker for Mary E Bass and Volney Bass
#39 is marker for Arthur Bass
#40 is marker for Weltha Dorrance
I walk down the rows so that is the order in the row. #41 is a Boyle and #36 is a Smith, if there would happen to be any relation there. These pics are loaded on the memorial pages for each person.

Thanks for the added information for Joseph Edgar Thompson. I appreciate the assistance. I am not related to this family. He is buried along side relatives so I thought I would take the time to research and connect him with his family.
|Tony Collins||Thomas Zimmerman|
Linda - Thank you very much for this information. He probably is buried with his family in Davie County. I will revise his page. Tony Collins

Linda, thank you for finding my dup and combining the two. It has been a pleasure working with you,
|Susan Hill||Mary Elizabeth Nelson McGee|
In going back and getting all of the sources in place for my family, I have run across Memorial# 81097112 that has my great grandparents linked to her. This is incorrect. George & Emily ha a daughter, but she was Elizabeth E. Nelson Hill married to Morgan Maxwell Hill. Would you please delete the parent links?

I ended up taking a ton of pictures of the marker trying to make it out if you want those to see if can make it clearer to read. Hubby and I plan on going back this weekend with paper to do a rubbing to try to read it better.
