I love genealogy and visiting cemeteries. I'm hoping by listing cemeteries in the area where I live (Saratoga, California)I will be able to help someone in their research. Unfortunately I am not related to any of the entries I have made for Madronia Cemetery (that I know of). Please Email me any corrections.

I'm a member of Association of
Graveyard Rabbits

***Please use the edit tab on the memorial to send a correction or suggestion so that I know what memorial you are referring to. When it is on my Bio page it is much harder to find.

***Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

If ever you feel I have made a mistake with a photo I have uploaded for you, please feel free to contact me directly via e-mail.

Here is a duplicate that I notified you of five months ago
Also, while we are on the subject of approving edits. You never did this one and it has been FIVE MONTHS since I sent it to you. I sent it in a message on your board, and probably also sent it to you in a SAC (but I do not have records that far back to prove it)

On December 9, 2014 I notified you of a duplicate. 39612435. It should be deleted.

You accidentally created two memorials for the same person.

The more complete one is 39612440 and should not be deleted.

RE: Please review edits that are sent to you

When you wait three weeks, the edits automatically get sent to the Find A Grave Administrators and they end up having to do them. The reason for that is because inconsiderate, inactive memorial "managers" do not bother to check to see if there are edits that they need to review.

UN-reviewed edits are automatically sent to Find A Grave Administration 21 days from when the edit is originally submitted to you. 21 days is three weeks. So, basically, you wait three weeks (by your own admission) and then wonder why you don't see any edits waiting. The reason you don't see them is because the edits that are sent to you get sent off after 21 days for lack of having been reviewed by you and then Find A Grave Administration takes care of them.

The result of that is that I have to wait THREE WEEKS or MORE for edits I send to you to be applied. You do not seem to understand how inconsiderate it is to make me (or anyone else) wait THREE WEEKS for a simple edit to be applied.

You didn't see my edits because you let them sit so long without reviewing them that they were finally handled by Find A Grave Administration.

Please review edits that are sent to you
Hi Sue,

I have sent you edits that are still awaiting your approval. One is as old as March 18.

Are you still active on Find A Grave?

I am unsure why it takes you so long to approve edits.

Please approve edits in a timely manner.

Edits awaiting your approval....
Hello Sue,

Just a friendly reminder...

I sent you some edits and they are awaiting your approval.

To review edits that have been sent to you for memorials you manage, go to your profile page, then in the upper right-hand corner you will see three tabs. Click on the 'Edits' tab. Then you can review and accept my edits.

Can you accept the edits for Kerns Woods and E Woods
Hi Sue, Can you double check that you have accepted all of my edits? I sent these on Jan 5 and they are still awaiting you approval.

I have made significant strides in identifying and connection this entire family, and if you could approve the edits, it would help me a lot. Thank you, They are related to the Priest and Coller and Morris-Reade families. Deb

RE: Julia Ann Boyce McLean
I really try to remember to add the newspaper info on all of the snapshots I take. I usually add it right to the snapshot so it stays with the snapshot in case someone copies it and posts it elsewhere.

I hate it when I see a snapshot of something and there is no reference to the source or the date... I think that particular obit may have been posted by someone else somewhere else, and I came across it. So, I didn't have the source, but I knew that the information was to valuable to disregard (specifically the married names of the daughters), so I grabbed it as-is.

Married names of daughters are so difficult to find. I always feel like I hit the jackpot when I come across them.

Julia Ann Boyce McLean
Here is a wealth of information on the Boyce family:

You can read through it and add information that enhances the depth and quality of Julia Ann Boyce McLean's memorial.

RE: Julia Ann Boyce McLean
I no longer have that information. I will be happy to remove it. Before I do though, could you extract the critical information (daughter's married names) etc, because once that document is gone, that information is lost again.

You should update her memorial with that critical information about the daughter's married names, and any other surviving members.

RE: Harvey Willis
Please don't bother updating any information I send you. I don't have time now to go back and re-research everything. Just forget all of it. I won't bother to send you any updates for any memorials.

So much time has passed and frankly I am done dealing with this. If you want to manage your memorials, then please do some research on your own and update them with information. There is a wealth of information out there.

I have no idea what the edit I sent you was for Harvey. Was that the one from February of 2014... almost a year ago? If yes, that information is directly from the Madronia Cemetery records. It should look familiar.

I have spent a tremendous amount of time updating memorials at Madronia. I do not just post a memorial. I research each one and try to find their other family members.

Please respond to my email I just sent you
Hi Sue,

I just sent you an email.

Please, please, please respond to me.

If I don't hear from you in a day or so, I will contact Find A Grave administration to report that you are not responding to requests to update memorials.

Please respond to me.

Thank you,
