Bio and Links
Bio Photo We completed a survey of all known cemeteries in McMinn County plus transcribed McMinn County death certificates from 1914-1955.
Surnames we are reseaching: Marvin's lineage = Templin, Click, Bryant, Sisk, Smith, Waddell, Gross. Samme's lineage = Carpenter, Simpson, Hutsell, Julian, Warren
Whenever we go out to fill a request, we try to take photos of a few of the surrounding burials. Never know when you might help someone find a lost relative. We also take tombstone pictures of any veterans we see, as we try to honor ALL VETERANS regardless of when they served.
A big "THANK YOU" to all the Find-A-Grave volunteers who have taken tombstone pictures for us.
We are always working on adding veterans to national cemeteries. Our way of honoring our veterans.

Wm Spindle gs photo
William and Samme;
Would you mind if I use the photo of William Spindle's gs. He is buried in Fort Snelling Cem., his memorial no. is 73374812. William is a cousin on my great grandfather's Guthrie family. William's grandmother is a sister of my gr-gr-grandfather. I would like to add this photo to my genealogy which will be given out to family members.
Thanks you

RE: CHC transcription problems
Just out of curiosity, did you create these duplicates while working on the computer or your cell phone?

Annie Whitefield Bradsher
The marriage record for Annie Whitefield and Galington Bradsher indicates that he is the son of Elva Bradsher and Bill Fuller.

Annie Whitefield Bradsher
This is from Union Grove Cemetery in Person County.
The page says she was married to Gallatin Bradsher, son of Nancy Royster and Jesse Bradsher. Gallatin Bradsher (Albert Gallatin)served in the U.S. war with Mexico in the 1840s. He left the country following his service and never returned to the U.S. to live. He was court-martialed for falling asleep on watch and was sentenced to three months with ball and chain and may have deserted at that point to avoid the sentence.

Additionally, the tombstone says that her husband was J.L. Brabsher [sic]whose initials do not agree with the name Albert Gallatin Bradsher.

The Galington Bradsher that she married was African-American, not the son of Nancy Royster and Jesse Bradsher.

RE: CHC transcription problems
Ok. It's not allowing me to delete it either. There were over 100 duplicates created. Yikes!

CHC transcription problems
Hi! I looks like you transcribed my pictures for Cedar Hill cemetery, but instead of putting the pictures on the memorials duplicate were created. Can you please delete 171833188
I can usually delete the duplicates that are created when others transcribe my pictures, but for some reason it's not letting me today. Also, the photo has her name as Charlotte Souder Powers but you have her name was Charlotte Souder Payne...Do you have more info on this, like a marriage certificate? It would be nice to add it to her original memorial. Thanks!
