I love to go to cemeteries and walk among the headstones and wonder about the ones who lie beneath the sod. I am currently photographing cemetery headstones and putting them online. I like to travel when time and money permits. I like "digging" up info to fill in a blank space of an ancestor whether mine or someone else's. .|
My daughter Lorelei helps too. I couldn't do what I do without the help of my family members. They are priceless.
Would love for you to visit and leave flowers at my virtual cemeteries..especially the one for Mervil Lee Short in Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Bishop, Nueces Co., Tx A Marine Veteran who served in the Vietnam War
My research of my family includes Swearingen, Westfall,Short, Brinkley, Crawford, Lynch, Ross, Andress, Brown, Glasco, Defore/Defoor, Donaho, Isaacs/Isaacks and many others.
I also try to research on my granddaughter's side of her father's family. Locklear, Cochran, Richardson, Williams, Horton, Weems and Wolfe
You are welcome to copy any headstone photos I have placed on any memorial. I do not believe in a "copyright" on headstone photos as they are accessible to the public in most any cemetery. I would appreciate being notified you have done so.

Thank you so much for the wonderful photo. I appreciate the time and effort you made in taking it for me. I was able to send a correction for the caretaker of the memorial to correct the name. Thank you again.

|Rhonda||RE: Thank you!!|
The only thing I know is his name was John Lawson and he died between 1870-1880. He's in 1870 census but not 1880.
He probably didn't die in the county she died in as they are in Hayes County in 1870 but I thought I'd check, just in case.
Thank you again for the photo.
Have a wonderful day,

Thank you so much for the grave photo for Amanda Lawson. I don't suppose there was a husband buried next to her was there? Just can't seem to find her second husband.
Thank you again and have a wonderful day,

|Gene Taylor||Eugene Elby Stevens|
Hi. I think you'll find that the parents of Eugene Elby Stevens were William Ambrose Stevens and Mary Safronia Black Stevens. He was my grandmother's (Willie Asby Stevens Taylor) younger brother. Both my father and I carry his name in our middle names--mine is Eugene, Gene for short!
|Shirley Mitchell||Clefa Kellam Galloway|
Thank you, Wanda, for adding Clefa's parents names to her memorial.
I also put in edits on her to add her maiden name and to link her to her father's memorial, which I just entered.
I haven't found her mother's death yet. Last trace of her was in New Mexico in 1940, where her 2nd husband had died in 1939. If I find her I will let you know so you can link her too.
Thank you so much for your prompt links. Your efforts are appreciated.

Thank you so much for the memorial for Aunt Sallie. I will treasure this, the entire Adams family is truly grateful! - Randy Rowe
Would you happen to be Wanda Thompson dau. of Johnnie T. and Ruby Thompson?
|Bob Cain||Jack Lewis, Pauline & Pearl Collins|
Hello Wanda M. After doing some research on ancestry.com I discovered that Jack Lewis Collins was first married to Pauline Smithers in 1929. She passed away in 1942 and then he married Pearl Lee Scott in 1945. So they are both his wives.

Memorial #27779528. I was wondering if you knew Pauline or her daughters? Just wondered because of the personal info that is on the memorial. Her daughters are my half aunts.
