Bio and Links
Bio Photo The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees but I do like credit. This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. IF A MISTAKE IS FOUND PLEASE EMAIL ME,USING THE EDIT BUTTON ON THE MEMORIAL. This is very important which is why it is CAPITALIZED thank you.

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

Georgea Sharkey
Ethel Jane Berry Lowe
Hello Barbara, I am the great granddaughter of Ethel Jane Berry Lowe that you created the FindAGrave website for, memorial # below in a Cemetery in New Zealand. Although her husband, Edwin George Lowe is buried in the Tirau Cemetery they can find no record of his wife Ethel Jane. Since she lived in Auckland and died there and was cremated at Waikumete Cemetery in Auckland I can not find where her ashes may have been scattered or buried. May I ask how you came to place her at the Tirau Cemetery? Many thanks as I would love to clear this up for my records.
Kind Regards, Mrs. Georgea Sharkey

Luke N. Baxter
Is this the Luke Baxter when was the artist?
If this is the same Luke, I knew him when I was a little girl.

Barbara,

Do you happen to have a death, birth or marriage certificate or any other information on these two?
Thanks,

Thank You
I so appreciate all the work you have done on my Michigan family--Robitaille, Roberts, LaPlant, Beaudoin, et al.

It was especially exciting to get the edit for Mary LaPlant Roberts today--she is the daughter of my Catherine and is the one I was trying to find in order to link her to her mother.

Many, many thanks for all you've done in locating these precious burial locations.

RE: Anson VanLeuven
Dear Barbara, I have done some further digging. I have a friend that works for the County of San Bernardino and they pulled his death certificate. It shows burial at Forest Lawn on June 14, 1920 arriving from a funeral in that county. He is also buried next to what I think is his wife, Frances.
I am anxious to hear what you find out.
Respectfully, James

Bridget Waldron
I noticed that you put in an entry for Bridget Waldron, who is buried in Delta County, Michigan. I suspect that this could possibly be my great-grandfather's sister, but I have no way of knowing for sure. You have it showing her as a teacher, but she is a complete mystery to me as I don't recall hearing anything about her leaving Iron County.

Alexander and Joseph B Fowler
You have control of these two memorials 49823723 for Alexander and Joseph B 49823753.

Please remove John D Fowler as father to these children. The actual spouse is another John Fowler about the same age also from Ohio. My error. They ended up in the same place and from the same state as the Fowlers I am working on.
