CINDY BENNETT
Peter Bennett 1724 - 1776
You wrote on memorial # 32073509 that this man was your first cousin. There might be two different Peter Bennetts. The Peter Bennett that is the son of WM and Mary Humphreys is said to have written his will in 1770 but not presented to the court May 1778.. and thats in BEDFORD CO VA.. Not Pittsylvania Co Va like the above Peter Bennett. Are we talking about two different Peter Bennetts ??? I think so. Can you clear this up for me

RE: KING - KENNETH I MAC ALPIN
Dear Sherrie,

I don't know if you got my last message, but King Kenneth is my 36th great-grand. (I had written down the wrong number the first time around.)

Anyhow, I am related to him through my father's side of the family, and find I am also related to many other royals...the Capets of France, Constantine the Great, etc. I will try to find your profile and see how many times we are related, if I can negotiate my way around this site. I find I am not very quick learning my way around here...but I'm working on it! It does seem like we probably have many relatives in common. Small world, eh?

Thanks for making this contact.
Happy New Year!

Good Morning, SRS!

'Hope the weather is good, wherever (in Texas, is it?) you are.

I made an error the other day when I answered your note. I said I thought King Kenneth I MacAlpin was great-grandfather #50. He was actually Great-grandpa #36.

Are you on Ancestry.com? How did you happen upon my ties with ole King Kenneth? Just curious.
Also, do you have a name...since you're a cousin, I thought it would be nice to call you something other than by your initials.

Have a good Wednesday!
Kathy

Hi. I tried to send you a message a while ago, but I do not see it posted here. I guess we are cousins, in a round-about way. I think King Kenneth 1 Mac Alpin is my 50th great grandfather. Funny thing: My sister always used to tell me she was a "Princess." Who knew there were royal connections way back when!?! Have you been working on your genealogy long? Merry Christmas to you!
