I was thrilled to find photos of some of my ancestors' graves on FindAGrave. I realized it would be a neat way to make someone else's day by taking photos at local cemeteries. |
My own genealogical interests, in addition to my line of the Ross family, are in St. Louis, Kansas, Utah, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ontario, and Nova Scotia.

|C. Granberry||RE:69511841 Meta V. Langmore|
I have entered edit requests for Meta V. Langmore which I hope you will accept and process for me. Meta's grandson, Wilfred Bankart Langmore III, married into the Granberry family and that's how I became interested in her and her family. You will find her son, Wilfred Bankart Langmore Jr., who is buried at Arlington linked to her.
I haven't been able to locate the burial place for her husband, yet. If you have info on him, could I impose upon you to share that info with me, please? He may be buried in the same cemetery as Meta but a memorial for him has not been created in Find A Grave. While I know lots about him, I don't when he died nor where he is buried.
Of course, if you are not related to Meta I would appreciate a transfer of management of her memorial so that I can add information as I find it.
Thanks for entering the memorial and for helping me in my search.

Thank you for your help.
I note you entered info. for William O. Fisher & his wife Mildred B. Fisher. I have been told William's Father Edward Frederick Fisher, Jr. 8/22/1901-10/21/1972 his Mother Louise Gertrude Bell Fisher Born 5/21/1907 are buried in Columbia Gardens. Also, possibly Charlotte Jean Fisher 7/7/1928-11/22/1976. Would it be possible for you to find out for me if they are all three buried in this Cemetery? I would appreciate it very much.

I was so happy to find this photo of the George and Coralee Rogers grave. Are you a relative? My genealogy research has led me to research this line of my family. George's Mother was Elizabeth Rogers Sullivan, sister of my Great-Grandfather, Charles Sullivan.
I am wondering what you can tell me about this family. Do you have contact with any living relatives? I heard George might have had two children who could be alive today. Any information you can provide will be helpful with my search.
Great-Granddaughter of Charles Sullivan, brother of Elizabeth Sullivan Rogers, George's mother.

Oops, sorry! I believe the correct date of death for him is Dec. 26, 1947, not 1917. The gravestone is a bit difficult to read. My source is his death notice from the Washington Post, Dec. 27, 1947.

I figured so, but they do have the nick name field and it's just one of those things that some may find interesting. Glad I could help!

Thank you for the info. I have added it to her page. Her second spouse, Boyd, was my husband's, Great Great Grandfather through his daughter, Annis. Do you have any photos?
