I am sorry that it came down to this as I dislike having to make a little request. Regarding Obits/funeral notices you may find for memorials I maintain at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville, Cattaraugus County, NY. I have access to all the newspapers in the area and I am posting obits. as fast as my little fingers will go. Please don't send me a obit. for one I haven't got to yet, I will get to it soon. If you have a obit. or funeral notice for one of my memorials that is from, other than, Chestnut Hill Cemetery please feel free to send them. Thank You!

Daniel Eugene Ames
Newspaper made a few errors on names. Daniel was a child of Albert D. Ames and Lydia C. Hill
to find proof you can look at the USA Federal Census reports from 1860, 1870, and 1880, since he lived with his parents all those years.
Thank you very much

Brosius-Procious
I was browsing today and came across some of your postings. Did you happen to take a photo of Barbara Paul Brosius at Salem UCC Rough and ready. She is my husband's gggrandmother. She and Nicholas were divorced. Also the Elizabeth Braun buried at Himmel is their daughter and a sister of Otis's great grandfather William Brosius-Procious. I would love to have Barbara's stone.Put a request on but most of their requests went back several years. Thanks for the note you sent several months ago, I have not been doing a lot. I had several mini strokes and was not very active for a while Lucille

Asa Ellinwood Halbert
Mark,

Another member already posted Asa's obituary. It is located on page two of the photos (click on 'view all images'). The first page already has three excellent photos (one of Asa, two of his gravestone) that you were so kind to post. So the obituary unfortunately has to be on page two.
Thanks again for your interest and for the excellent photos you posted for Asa's memorial.

RE: Leon Layton Memorial
Thank you for doing such a great job on his memorial.I couldn't believe it when I accidentally came across it. I'm usually looking through the Find a Grave listings in southern PA. where the Layton's and Hank's have been for the last 200yrs.I was looking through your HANK'S listings to see if I could find a family connection and have not yet.I'll keep in touch.MIKE
