Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in findagrave started when I worked on a family tree for my husband. We found some of his relatives and where they are buried through this site. It was comforting to look at their headstones and imagine what life was like for them more than 200 years ago.
I would like to thank all the volunteers for their time and effort in photographing and documenting the grave sites. I was so impressed with their work that now I am a volunteer and I enjoy spending my free time at the cemeteries documenting headstones of which some, unfortunetly, will be totaly unreadable in a few years.
In photographing cemeteries I noticed some of the older, hard to read headstones have been scratched to try and make out a name or date. I DO NOT alter the headstones in any way, instead, I take several photos from different angels to try to read them.
If you find any mistakes, please contact me. I am not perfect and do make mistakes and when they are pointed out to me I gladly make the correction.

Any photo from a cemetery that I've posted at Find-A-Grave may be used for family trees, personal use, etc.

Yes, I would like that (they are my parents). I'm new to this so not sure how all this works.

Margaret Ann Rouse Kennedy
This is one big confusing mess.

In the 1930 Mobile census:

William L Rouse Sr. Head M 66 North Carolina
Margaret M Rouse Wife F 56 Alabama
Richard E Rouse Son M 28 Louisiana
Annie L Rouse Daughter-in-law F 25 Alabama
William L Rouse Jr. Son M 20 Louisiana
Richard E Rouse Jr. Son M 3 Alabama
Margaret Ann Rouse Daughter F 0 Alabama

Then in the 1940 Mobile census:

William L Rouse Head M 75 North Carolina
Margaret M Rouse Wife F 66 Alabama
Emmett R Rouse Son M 38 Louisiana
Annie L Rouse Daughter-in-law F 35 Alabama
Emmett Rouse Grandson M 13 Alabama
Margaret Ann Rouse Granddaughter F 10 Alabama
Patrick F Rouse Grandson M 8 Alabama

1) Is Richard E (1930) the same person as Emmett R (1940)??

2) Annie L would appear to be the mother of Margaret Ann, but is she the same person as memorial #43501451 who is linked as the wife of Emmett Richard Rouse, memorial #43501344.

For now, I'm going with the assumption that the above two memorials are Margaret's parents and link them accordingly. What threw me initially was Margaret being shown as a daughter in the 1930 census, which she was - just not the daughter of William Sr. Thanks for the catch.

Thanks for your work!
I see you just posted a grave memorial for Joseph Raymond Wood 1899 - 1955 a month ago. He's a relative of mine for which I had been unable to find his burial location.

Are you related to him? Thanks!!!

Hi,
Thanks for double checking. I put in the wrong birth date for Mary, she was born in 1874. Thanks so much for catching that! So yes, Edwin really is her son. :-)

RE: Prichard Cemetery
I looked through the help section and didn't find anything. Very true, sometimes the person who creates the cemetery is the one who post's the photo of the cemetery, but not always. They could also include a link at bottom of page for corrections on cemeteries. Thanks again!
