Hello! I have been working on my family's genealogy off and on since I was fourteen; it's fascinating to learn about the lives of my ancestors over the past few centuries! |
I was raised in Middle Tennessee, but most of my family lives in the northeast Arkansas area, so that is where most of my submissions will be. For the past few years I've lived outside the U.S., first in Italy and now in China. So, I haven't had much opportunity to do local research in several years, but the internet is a wonderful thing. Feel free to e-mail me if you find we have a connection!fg.cgi?page=ms

I have been to the family cemetery twice when I was younger. Some time has passed since then and a few years back my son, Blaine and I tried several times to find it. My Father, Cecil K. Province Jr. Knew where it is but his health wouldn't allow him to go with us. Dad passed this year and that leaves me and my son even further in the dark on it's whereabouts. If anybody has a map or very descriptive directions it would make me and my son very happy. Thanks to all that might read this!

Hi Katy. Great to hear from you. Thank you for the updates. I'll keep that in mind if I see any. Also, I collaborate a lot with Kenneth Hampton. He takes grave pics and I write bios. I manage pages for him. He asked me if I would talk to you about transferring his parents' pages to me. He wants me to write some bios for them and he wants to do some other things if that's OK with you. His father is Floyd McKinley Hampton 13216899 and mother is Rosezetta Silkwood Hampton 13216902. Thanks. Hope you are doing great! :)

Thank you so very much for linking the family together. The assistance that we have received from you and other Find A Grave volunteers is nothing short of wonderful.
God bless you in all your efforts.

They were my grandmother's brothers. I loved each dearly.

I believe she is my great-grandmother on my father's maternal side. My Grandmother died in the Detroit area when she was in her early 40's. She had 6 son's, so the little ones were sent to live with Grandpa Haywood and Grandma "Eller" in a small "unpainted" (as my dad refers to it) home in the Paragould area. Does this sound like the right connection?
|Rick||RE: Bev Rutledge|
Thank you so very much for transferring Bev Rutledge to me. I hope you look back at his Memorial from time to time.
My mother said, he was married four times,he would tell how all four wife's lived with in one mile of him.
thanks again, Rick

Her daughter Ruby Candace Pruett Elsass is also found in findagrave with obituary that includes a sister, Mildred Cope. Also found in rootsweb that she had brothers Carl Erving and William Martin. Two nephews and a neice are also listed in this obit, but I cannot place to parent.
