Bio Photo I'm willing to photograph tombstones in cemeteries in N.W. Ohio.

I've been doing genealogy research for over 30 years and have collected a large amount of data.

I believe that the original family data I have makes me the caretaker and not the owner. I'll gladly share what I have with others.

I have a REAL problem with others who are trying to build a mega list of managed sites.

TRANSFERS: With any Find A Grave memorial that I maintain, if you are a closer relative than I, I will transfer. If I have no connection and you have some connection (even friendship), I will transfer.

RE: Thanks
No problem. I have a home in that area that I travel to every few weeks. I don't have good information to pass on regarding your three other requests. I believe I have two out of the three. But the head stones are not readable. Catharina Anstätt's appears broken and half is leaning against a tree. I could just barely make out the dates. I didn't want to add them until I can verify I have the correct ones. There is only one infant grave in that family section... but again it is un readable. Sadly many stones there are not holding up well.

Next time I am there during the week I will stop up town and see if I am correct and will then upload for you. Anstätt is such a unique name.... it makes you almost wish they didn't feel the need to Americanize it.

RE: Confused
Hi Jim,
First I very sorry for the confusion. There are two different Charles Henry Hayden at this cemetery. When I went to post the photos, I clicked on your request by mistake. When I realized, I removed the photos. I did look for your Charles Henry Hayden, and Lena A.Manhire Hayden's plots. They are both buried at the Mount Wollaston, however, there are no grave stones or markers noting their location. I went to the office today to double check that I was in the right location, and I was. They gave me the plot set up for the Hayden's location. I will post a photo of it. It will show "X"'s of where there are markers. Charles is located in grave #4. Lena is in the next grave #5, however, there is no maker for her, and she shares it with Hannah E. A. Scrivens (who does have a gravestone).

Again, I am very sorry for the mix up. Please let me know if there is any other information that you may need. I will post what information I have today.

Thanks, Amber

Henry W. Hobart
Birth: Mar. 22, 1892
Michigan, USA
Death: Feb., 1967
East Tawas
Iosco County
Michigan, USA

Hello Jim,

There is information posted pertaining to Henry Hobart on his find a grave site. I wanted to assist with that information. Although I did not know him, Henry Hobart was my Great Grandfather.

His first Wife Gertrude Brunt and he divorced although I am not sure of the year. They had a no children together.

9 JUN 1920, Henry Hobart married Vera Leona Nokes. They had one son Donald Raymond Hobart together on 22 APR 1922.

Vera Leona Nokes died on 13 MAR 1925 from tuberculosis.

On 5 OCT 1931 he married Leona Elizabeth Henning (my maternal great grandmother) in Steuben County, Indiana. She was his third wife. They had Leota Etta Hobart, Helen Elizabeth Hobart, and Wesley Arthur Hobart together.

I know that someone was looking for the information and although I rarely use this site, I wanted to help out an fill in the information.

Ansted Forest Cemetery
Went to Forest Cem today for my sister in law looking for Willards , Purdues, Butlers, Becks and Bussings. Checked for Ansteds also but didn't have any luck. I am assuming the OC section is the Old Commons on the map. The kids had fun in that section and tipped over plenty of stones face down No luck this time. Will try again another day.

RE: Thanks
Hi, I was helping my sister find info. She is married to his grandson. I'll ask if they are interested in connecting and will let you know.
