Retired and living in the great state of Tennessee, on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau. I'm a husband, father, grandfather, and a Vietnam Veteran. I am an writer, author, and avid historical researcher. I have worked on our family genealogy since a boy.
My family surnames are Goode, Arnold, Dexter, Roach, Austin, and Jobe. Our family locations are Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Illinois.
Photos and headstone information posted to "Find A Grave" are an important part of completing our many family connections. If able, we will provide what help we can, in completing the family connections of others including updating and transfer of memorials to relatives that I manage.
I take photos of ALL Veterans grave markers when found, and post the information and photos to "Find A Grave". The lives of most Veterans were shaped or changed dramatically by their service, yet many memorials barely mention their service to our country. ALWAYS HONOR A VETERAN, our freedom is due to their sacrifice!
I share, because it is the right thing to do! You are welcome to re-post the photos taken or provided by me to your family trees for personal use. If you use my photos for Commercial purposes, just remember, I am a crazed Vietnam Vet!
Research Just wanted to say Thank You for all the hard work you put into research and photos. I found the photos and write up you did about my husband's GG Grandfather ... Pleasant Henry Sells, what a treasure! I have shared the photo and information with the children of our family and they are very excited to see this. Thank You so very much!
Thank you for the monument photo on the memorial for Thomas Crosby Seaman, Jr. (memorial #72125014). He shares a join monument with his wife, Patsy (Whitesides) Seaman, who has now also passed away (memorial #134357804).
