INCORRECT BURIAL INFO

If I place a memorial in an incorrect cemetery or if cremains are later buried, please let me know the location of the burial so my memorials are correct.

***********************

Please use the Edit tab located at the top right of the memorial to let me know of any corrections/additions to my listings so that I may make the updates.

I spend a lot of time increasing the volume and accuracy of biographical information and links even for unrelated families.

I began studying my family history in 1976 and have been at it ever since. I love searching for members of my family tree and learning all I can about their lives.

Personal focus of research on:

The Lyman Family in America: the Ancestors & Descendants of Richard Lyman & Sarah Osborne from High Ongar, England, 1631.

Thomas Tolman, from Salcombe Regis, Devon, England and arrived in America in 1635 and settled in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Transfer Request: Raymond and Mary Holt
Hello, would you be willing to transfer these memorials to my care?

#122708947 Raymond LaCroix Holt
#122708973 Mary Adella Simpson Holt

These are my parents and I would like to update the memorials so that the names of all their children are included, and also to correct a date error and add photos.

Thank you very much for your kind consideration.

RE: Alanson Gray
I'll have to spend some time on this. I don't know any of Nelson's siblings, I don't know where in NY he was born and I don't know who is parents were. All I know is that he was a traveling tinware salesman before he settled and became a shoemaker. But thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it.

RE: Alanson Gray
Thank you Don! What a great find, although given the wording...

" Samuel Gray, son of Elijah, married Hannah Ogden of Dutchess County, N.Y., and had three sons, Nelson, and Wakeman, who died young, and Solomon..."

do you think this means that this Nelson died young, or just Wakeman?

RE: Alanson Gray
Dear Dan,
Where did you find that information on Nelson Gray?!? :)

I did an search in the Gray Genealogy book in archive.org (they have the whole book online) and I didn't find a Samuel or a Nelson. But your information is WONDERFUL! Please let me know where you found it.

Thank you for everything.

Would you look at memorial # 13389585 and see if you can work out an agreement with the owner to merge your memorials for Ephraim T. Sturtevant? His daughter by his third wife, Julia DeForest Tuttle (# 12929206), is known as the founder of the city of Miami, Florida. It would be nice to have the line easily accessible.

Minerva Euprasa Platt Bliss
You have the wrong cemetery for Minerva Euprasa Platt Bliss (Memorial# 114278494). She is buried with her second husband, Claus Emil Norberg (Memorial# 157037920) in the Woodlawn Cemetery,
Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, USA. If you send me an email I will send you a snapshot of her death certificate which substantiates this.

Alanson Gray
Hi. I'm just wondering how positive you are of Alanson's children. I'm trying to find my great X3 grandfather and everything points to Alanson EXCEPT, your list doesn't include my 2X great grandfather. His name was Nelson Gray and he was born in NY between 1811-1820. He lived in Putnam County as a young married man.

Thank you for your consideration.
