I checked the spreadsheet I made from the cemetery list and the maiden name was not there, so there's no telling who sent it and when. I think the Find A Grave Admins can check and see all the changes ever made to any page, so you might try that. However, they probably get so many similar requests for information that it's impossible for them to dig it all up. Good luck!

Jonathan, death date is 23 per family records and vital records. But thanks for the observation. Sometimes I get the dates wrong on the memorials.

Headstone moved
Dorr and Mary Jane's family (great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces) got the headstone moved to the Schenevus cemetery in Schenevus, NY, in the family plot with their parents, Joseph and Rebecca Chamberlain. There are now new, current Find a Grave listings for both Dorr (Memorial #158932708) and Mary Jane (Memorial #158933698). The headstone has found a permanent home, thanks to the information found here!

Milo and Louisa Baker Ames
Louisa was one of my grandfather's sisters. Her middle name was either Weltha or Wealthy. I've seen it both ways.

She and Milo eloped and married in Jamestown, NY. The Baker family lived in Concord Township, Erie County, PA. Louisa's dad did not like Milo.

Louisa, children, and grandchildren returned to Pennsylvania from time-to-time to visit but Milo remained in Wisconsin.

Martha Matson Memorial# 146927645
Hi Jonathan,
Just going through my Harford (Cortland co, NY) photos. Noticed you have a stone photographed and labeled Martha Matson. The Town Clerk recorded it as Martin Matson, died Dec. 23, 1880, age 65 yrs. Was wondering if you knew for sure if this is Martha, rather than Martin, as reading the stone is difficult.
Thanks, Nancy

RE: Silas Smith Ontario Cemetery
Thanks for your response. I found a notation in my notes that there was a S. M. Smith buried there but found no grave marker or other info to confirm this. I have pictures of Aurelia (Madison Smith) Boostroom next to her 2nd husband George Boostrom there. She remarried after Silas died. I have some information on the Madison line from descendants that I have had contact with in the past. I can share what I have if it will aid you in your search. you can email me at beano60@roadrunner.com

Silas Smith Ontario Cemetery
Hi, I just discovered you posted a Silas Smith buried in Ontario Cemetery in Knox County who died in 1860. He was married to Aurelia Madison Smith who is also listed as buried there. I know Aurelia is buried there next to her 2nd husband, George Boostrom. So I am confused as to why she is listed on find a grave as a Smith. But I really need to know about Silas. This is my Silas Smith that I and my father have been trying to find for probably forty years now. We know he died there but have never found his grave. Please fill me in on where you got your information and how you know it is him there. I looked when we were there years ago and could not find him. I want to be excited but am waiting to hear from you. Please fill me in. Thank you for your time.

Elton Madison
I'm not sure what your question is. I knew Elton who was my wife's uncle. You are correct about his parents, but both died in Pomona California, but I do not know where they are buried. I will contact Elton's son and see if he knows. BTW, Elton's wife is still living and will be 94 in April. Please use my email for future correspondence.
