I live in Leflore County, Oklahoma. If you need some info or a photo on a cemetery in my area, e-mail me and I will try to help as much as I can... I am the daughter of Mike and Lois (Chapmond) Bess and the grand-daughter of Archie Chapmond and Olene (Davis) Flute, John W. and Ramona (Bacon) Bess. |
My Mother taught me, my whole life how important knowing our Ancestry is. She was my greatest inspiration. I love and miss her everyday. I started family research about 18yrs ago. It is one of my favorite things to do in my spare time. I am the Oklahoma State historian for the Order of Confederate Rose. I help the Sons of Confederate Veterans find there ancestry and service records. I love the mystery and the satisfaction of helping others to find there roots... There are so many cemeteries lost and destroyed every year. Especially were I live. The old Indian and Black cemeteries are almost all gone now, so I try to take the time to at least record them. I will always try to help you if I can. If I have recorded someone that you would like for me to transfer, just let me know and I will. For me its not about how many I can do, its about helping people!

|Mike D. Mitchell||Alfred B and Mary B Hunsucker Plummer|
I received your comment concerning an error on the Memorials I had created on these two individuals in the Hunsucker Cemetery in Catoosa County Georgia. I did make note on the bios for these two Memorials but I created them from the original source cited. None of the birth dates, death dates, nor marriage (Alfred's spouse)from the Arkansas Memorials agrees with the information I have so I am inclined to believe these are different individuals. I am leaving my original Memorials in place at this time. Thanks for your information.

Thank you! I updated her record and added her parents. May I use your photo on my Ancestry.com family tree, (providing you full credit as photo taker of course)? I'll respect your wishes either way. Kindest wishes, Tom Knapp
|Tom Knapp||Alma D Winters|
I'm wondering if you'd allow me to add the photo of her headstone to my Ancestry.com family tree? She is my 1st cousin, 3x removed. Her maiden name, if you want to add it, was "Argabright" and she was born in Nebraska. Her father was John Argabright (# 82016085) and her mother was Serepta (# 82014701). Many thanks!
