Our contributions are small, but we hope they will help you in your family research.|
We are happy to transfer any memorials for those not related to us. However, we will continue to maintain memorials for those we are related to. Send SAC (Suggest a Correction) requests using the Edit tab and always include your Member#. Requests for transfers made on this message page will be ignored (Use the SAC and include your member number as stated above.)
We have assumed stewardship of many memorials in Greenlawn Cemetery, Seneca County, Ohio and would like to transfer to family to maintain (those not related to us). Please send an edit or request for transfer if you can assist in updating any burials at Greenlawn Cemetery in Seneca County, Ohio.
We request the following for our memorials:
Do Not post death certificates to our memorials. The tombstone is of primary importance and should be the featured photo.
We will not add census data information to the bio. This can be found easily at free sites and is appropriate for public trees, not for the individual's biography.
Please: Do Not post any crests or coat of arms to our memorials. Even if it's a legitimate coat, just because there is a coat of arms for a name it doesn't mean that it belongs to everyone of that surname.
You are welcome to use any photos we have added for your personal family history. Please acknowledge credit to the volunteer who took the photos when permission has been given to use them, whether ours or another volunteers' - It is the right thing to do!
We try to search well to avoid duplicating any memorials. If you find an error or duplicate, please send a correction, and know that it was unintentional.
Thank you to all the many wonderful volunteers who have entered memorials, taken photos, or searched a cemetery to answer a photo request. You are truly what makes this website so incredible.

Thanks for the acknowledgement of the photographs for the Hartmans, and you are very welcome! They were easy to find--in the lot next to my Great & Great-Great Grandparents!

My wife and I have been working with Find A Grave for a little over 2 years and have really enjoyed it. We get the most gradification from finding an obituary on a memorial and then locating their parents & sometimes their siblings and doing the "edit suggestion" to get them linked. But posting marker photos and occasionally creating memorials is our main contribution. Hope you and your family have a "Safe and Happy New Year", may God Bless !
