Bio and Links
Bio Photo Use the "Suggest a Correction" feature on the appropriate memorial to submit information or any requests. I follow the Find-A-Grave guidelines regarding the transfer of memorials. Any transfer requests should only be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

If you send me a request for transfer of a memorial, please explain exactly how you are related to the person. Thanks.

Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website.

 Find A Grave's secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site.

Find A Grave's tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource. If a listing or contribution corresponds with only the primary purpose, it has fulfilled its part of Find A Grave's mission and is not required to correspond with the secondary and tertiary purposes. Fulfilling the other two is welcomed, encouraged and deeply appreciated, but as far as Find A Grave's purpose goes, a memorial page isn't lacking if it does not.

I live in Cheyenne, WY. Love the hunt for interesting history in my area.

My goal in Find-A-Grave is to compose the best memorials I can for the people I am honoring. I add as many people as I possibly can to Find-A-Grave and then, as time permits, I do what I can to link them with their relatives and I also add an obituary or write as much of a biography as I can based on available records and information.

I welcome your reviews of the memorials I have posted, and I welcome any information you might provide to help compose the best memorials we can.

Anice and Elery Bird
Are you related to Elery #113651830 and Anice #113651823. They are my Grand Aunt and Uncle. I was wondering if you would transfer them to my care if you are not related. Thank you

Thank you so much for the transfer. I will take your advice and make a new request. The stone must have been wet or damp and the mold on the stone just makes it impossible to read. At least we know that there is a stone!?

Find A Grave Memorial 26060935
Eugene Sargent is my husband's first cousin. I have the following obit for Eugene: His obituary reads: Services for Eugene D. Sargent, 68, of Shoshoni, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Community Church in Shoshoni. The Rev. John Cunningham will officiate with burial in the Lake View Cemetery. Mr. Sargent died April 10, 1981.
He was born October 17, 1912 in Sargent, Nebraska to Arthur and Blanche (Dye) Sargent and married Geneva Walborn in 1941.
Mr. Sargent was affiliated with the Shoshoni Baptist Chapel and was baptized in 1953. He has lived in the Shoshoni area since 1945.
His survivors include his wife, Geneva; a brother, Leroy Sargent of Beaumont, California, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Petersen of Hawthorne, California, and Mrs. Dorine Plasmyer of Greenfield, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Horse Buckwalter
I've been researching the Buckwalter family for over 15 years, and... I must say, memorial 20116261 is by far the most unique I've ever seen!

I love this!

But 29174606 doesn't have anything correct about the person other than the first name. The day of death is wrong, there's no year, the last name is spelled wrong, there's no information and no picture of the marker. 29174606 looks like an incorrect entry.

Memorial Transfer Request
Hello!

I would like to ask if you would transfer Find A Grave Memorial# 29578407 to me. It's for John Fred Dapra, in Boot Hill, Hartville. He was my Grandfather and I would very much appreciate being able to tend his virtual memorial.

Thank you,
Sara
