|A lot of work goes into researching a person whether we do this for ourselves or for someone else. At times we all could be looking up several people to get to that one we are looking for. With that being said, we all are capable of making mistakes. So, for all those of you that want to send me or anyone else an ugly email, stop, take a deep breath and re-read what I have written. |
If by chance I have made a mistake, please let me know. I will be more than happy to change the data. As Billy Joel would say "We're only human, we're suppose to make mistakes".
If I have someone that is related to you, I will be more than happy to transfer as long as I am not related to that person.

You are absolutely right, I never noticed because it was linked to me as a relative after the creator disappeared, Many of my relative's are buried in Colfax, Nm. Thank you so much, I am very proud to be a part of "Find a grave" because of people like you. Thanks and God Bless

My husband and I went back to the cemetery this morning. We found Jesse Pendleton but still can't locate Esther's headstone. I have my request in with the City for an actual location. When I receive it, we'll go back and search again. I did take some pictures of the Pendleton Family area in the cemetery. If you would like me to send them to you, please give me your email address.

Hi, first let me say, I so agree with what you said in your bio. We can't let the haters keep us from what we love.
I also wanted you to know I attempted to fulfill your request for a headstone picture. I visited Downey District Cemetery yesterday and was overwhelmed. My husband and I walked off rows for over a hour and didn't make a dent in the search. It has almost 3,000 graves, many of the headstones are very worn - hard to read, no one on site to help...without a plot number, etc. it is going to be almost impossible to find the grave.
I called the city this morning to request direction. Their database is down (hopefully be up in about a month), the only employee available to assist with such a request is part-time and when the database is up, she has other requests ahead of mine. Additionally, they don't have a very helpful map of the cemetery even after we get the plot number.
Sorry, but I'll keep trying. Hopefully you'll get a picture within the year.

I've made the change to the memorial as you requested.
I'm not near Moulton (few hours away), but I put in a photo request for Theodore Moeller in Moulton City Cemetery.

I found the obituary while doing research on families that immigrated from Horni Ujzed, Moravia to Gonzales, Texas. I plan on going through some microfilm soon and will hopefully find more. I thought it was neat the way they posted it.
