Bio and Links
Bio Photo WE are both retired City of Atlanta Police Officers and are interested in history and geneology. Although we are concerned with our own family histories, we are also interested in the graves of others. We try to fulfill requests in our area, but we also photograph the older forgotten cemeteries that are falling to ruin. We feel it is important to preserve a memorial before time and nature make it unknown. We are not doing this for the numbers, but for others who have a sense of family and history. Please feel free to use any pictures we have posted on Find A Grave. If you are a family member, we will gladly transfer management to you. Additionally, if we've made a mistake, please let us know so we can correct it.

Hi Clyde & Sandra,

Thank you very for being very understanding and transferring his memorial. Too many Marine memorials with no bios that people have had for several years and nothing done to them and will not transfer, or use all the data someone provides. For the time being I updated his memorial with some information and will continue doing more research about him.
Thanks for the good work you'll have done and or doing.

Thanks so much for taking more and better photos of the grave markers at the Martin Cemetery. I was there late one afternoon and it was getting dark. Some of my photos were not the best. I will remove the ones you mentioned and will look forward to seeing your new photos.

Dear Clyde and Sandra,
Thanks for your help.
The man who placed the sign wrote me that he was told by the man living next door that there have been additional burials in the past 25 years. I wasn't aware of any grave markers that recent, even "temporary" metal markers. Also there are a number of photos of grave markers like for my Howell ancestors who were CSA veterans that are not very good photos. In some not all of the marker shows in the Find-A-Grave memorial photographs or the photo was taken a great distance away. You may not have time to look around, I know it isn't an easy cemetery to even find markers. Appreciate anything you do!
Hope the new cemetery sign lasts awhile and brings greater recognition to this historic Upson Co. cemetery.

Thanks so much for all the photos you take in Upson County. I live in Texas and last saw the cemetery two years. First time there since 1975.

Hi Clyde and Sandra,
Do you have any overview photos that you might submit as "cemetery photos" for Martin Cemetery? My Martin and Howell ancestors are there. Also I had a sign placed recently along the road. If you wish to take a better photo of it that would be great too. I first saw the cemetery in 1975 and it is still in poor shape. Thanks for the marker photos you took there.

Dear Clyde and Sandra,
Thanks for taking the wonderful photograph of his grave marker! I visited the cemetery two years ago and it needs all the documentation possible to preserve its history.
