Am retired from US Postal Service. Am researching my paternal side of the family...LANE. My husband's relatives are much easier to find.....they seem to fall out of the trees. My husband, Jimmy, was born to older parents (38 when he was born). We live on land his parents bought in 1930's. His parents lived to be 88 and 92. Parents were Charlie E Lee and Malisia Mae "Pet" Holland. We lived next door to them for over 20 years and I learned much of their family history. I have tried to preserve what I know for future generations. I live near Pinecrest Cemetery and Forest Hills Cemetery.
