Bio Photo Hi,

In May 2011 I found a lot of useful information on "find a grave" while doing a family tree. This is a wonderful site! I'd love to help in any way I can.

Deborah

Update, May, 2012 - I'm a married, mother of 2, grandmother of 3 (girls), great grandmother of one boy almost 2 yrs old and, as of next Friday, great grandmother to twin boys! :) Please feel free to use any photos I've submitted. But, it would be nice to get credit for them. :)

Deborah

There have been a number of men with that nam during the 1700s and 1800s. What are some clues as to the one your looking for?

Your cousin, Bromley German
Deborah, I saw that you posted on Lt. Bromley German's memorial page that he was your first cousin. I happened to take a picture of his stone at Arlington in January 2009 and it came out rather nice. You can see it at http://instagr.am/p/J5kPQFvU_e/ I'd rather not post it here -- I'd like to retain the attribution -- but I thought you and the family might like to see it. His stone was so striking that day because it was one of the few that had a wreath. It was a very foggy, misty day and the red ribbon on his wreath stood out so brightly that day. I imagine many people learned your cousin's name and story that day. We thank him for his service.

Thank you so much for the great monument picture of Fannie & Luther Groover's monument. I have tried to get the person that maintains the site to link them, but he never replies.
Thanks again,
