Thanks to my Cousin, Ann, for introducing me to Find A Grave. |
I enjoy researching and learning about my ancestors, family and friends. I live in West Columbia, South Carolina. I was born in Newport, Rhode Island. I was adopted when I was 18 months old and was blessed with the greatest parents of all, Anna Dutton and Henry Workman Sweat! My father died when I was 9 (January 1, 1968), and my mother remarried 18 months later. My stepfather, Gary Hilton Koon, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 1976. His favorite phrase was "WELL GLORY". My mother, Anna Dutton Sweat Koon, went home on October 14, 2008 and I miss her dearly.
I am a member of Wayside Baptist Tabernacle in Pelion, S.C.
The most important thing I can tell you about myself is that I am a Christian, saved by the grace of God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and I love Him with all my heart and soul! He proved His love for me, and for the WHOLE WORLD, when He GAVE His life on Calvary's cross. He loved us so much that He left the riches of Heaven to come to earth to die on the cross. He gave His life as an atonement for the sins of the whole world! What a great sacrifice! What a precious gift! What a wonderful Savior! THAT'S TRUE LOVE!
HOBBIES: Music, crocheting and gardening. I have 11 dogs and 3 cats.
I am researching and maintaining records for my adoptive family: Sweat/Dutton/Burton/Boggs.
I am also researching and maintaing records of my birth family: Rasnick/Manders/Finney/Neronha. The oldest known ancester for the Rasnick family is AndreasB Rierschneckh, born 1612 in Austria, died 1682 in Germany.
I would appreciate any additional information anyone has that they can pass along.

|Faye McCranie||Rev Jacob Wm Rasnake photo|
May I have your permission to copy your wonderful photo of Rev Jacob Wm Rasnake to my family tree. If someone knows the identity of the children shown with him that would be awesome.
|Mark Gentry||Nancy Rasnick (1823 - unk)|
Would you be so kind as to merge your Memorial for Nancy Rasnick Skeen (Memorial # 143080696) into the one previously created for her (in 2009 under Memorial # 43036225) as shown in the link, below:
This will eliminate the duplication of previously-created memorials.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Bonnie, I see you have a Memorial for Mary Fernandes-Fata Mitchell Fata's wife. I was hoping you would delete it, as I am the niece of Mary . I have put her up with her husband, but now it is showing her twice. She is also attached to her parents
Thank you Karen in Ma.

Bonny, something you may not know Henry McWhirter descendants and his brother William Mcwhirter 1720-1803 descendants are 100% DNA match. I am the William Mcwhirter DNA representative.
I am one of mitchell's daughters and saw your beautiful tribute to Daddy.
I see you have him creamated. He is actually buried at Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia. His grave is in the back near the mausoleums. There is a "road" to the right of the mausoleums Nd he is buried in the section to the right of that road . . . Closer to the right side of that section and near the front.

|Tim Puckett||Drury Puckett|
Bonny - there is a lot of confusion with Drury and his brother Daniel. Some think they are the same because records have Drury and Daniel both born in 1732/1733.
I have Daniel born in 1718 and married to Ann Franklin. Daniel is my 5th great grandfather.
Can you elaborate?
Tim Puckett (me)
William Albert Puckett Jr
William Albert Puckett Sr
Samuel Puckett Jr
Samuel Puckett Sr
John Puckett IIII
|Cat Marthers||Green Berry Sweatt|
This is my great Uncle, he is buried at Neelys Creek Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill, SC. My grandfather was William Green Sweatt. Uncle Green left his farm in Catawba, SC to my grandfather. I would love to share Sweatt info with you.
