Taylor memorials
Thank you for transferring my parents, John and Evelyn Taylor to me. Would you please also transfer my aunt Mary L. Barnett #99429111 to me. She is also located at Roseboro? Mary's granddaughter and my cousin would like me to add her bio and other information. Thank you so much for all your work. Linda

Thank you very much for allowing folks to use your photos! It really helps when you don't live near where your ancestors did...

John Owen Autry
Thanks for the information Melody. John Owen is quite a mystery. He went back to Sampson County, NC after his second wife Lucy died in 1930. He spent most of his life in Pierce County, Georgia. He married Betty Lewis when he got back there. Betty's brother reported his death. We think they might have guessed his middle name, but aren't sure. His headstone is correct. We also know from the census records that starting with the 1910 census he stated his age as ten years older than he had in the 1900 census. I don't know if we'll ever get answers. His mother was Colen (or Colie) M. Holland, but I don't know much more than that. Thanks so much for your help! Sandy
