What interests me the most is genealogy and cemetery preservation. I have worked on my own family history for about twelve years and researched for others. I have worked with some families of adoption and helped to them connect with birth families. It has been a very rewarding experience. For the past several years I have worked diligently on cemetery preservation in Mobile County. This past year I worked with the Alabama Historical Commission registering endangered and abandoned cemeteries. I have also volunteered at The Mobile Genealogical Society as the Vice President and various other positions. Currently I am the 2nd Vice President and the Mobile and Washington County Representative for the Alabama Cemetery Preservation Alliance.|

Paula, are you Ruby(Tiny) daughters. If so, I exchanged Jarman info with you years ago. Your grandmother, Inez was my mother's first cousin. I happened to see your name on one of the cemetery photos and just wondered if it was you.

Paula, I just happened to find your bio by clicking a link on the Chattanooga National Cemetery. After reading your Bio, I just wanted to say thank you for your work. So many times people do not get recognized for their contributions. Today I say thank you for work that you do not have to do. Many appreciate your efforts. Doug Franks

|DAY||Andrews in Mobile Co., AL|
Could you tell me if there is any way that I might be able to find my gr. grandmother? The only thing I have is an 1870 Mobile, Beat 6, AL census record. Her name was Elizabeth (?) Andrews and according to the census age, she would have been b. ca 1823. On that census is my grandfather Joseph Andrews and his 3 sisters.
I have no idea where Elizabeth might have been buried, nor any idea when she died.
I know that is not much to go on, but any help, sure would be appreciated. I am disabled and cannot travel, to hunt for her.
Thanking you in advance,
Della Andrews Yerby
