I have recently added writer Catherine Cookson, please vote. If someone knows whether she was buried (and where) or cremated, please let me know.
I have also added Florence Scovel Shinn, whose final resting place I need to know.
Thanks.

My name is Mariela and I am very interested in whatever gives me hopes of life after death and recently started reading about the doctrine of Spiritism (which is not a religion) and I find it fascinating. It is ideal for people who have just lost loved ones.
If you happen to be curious about Spiritism, I invite you to have a look at this book by Allan Kardec:

Also you may like to read his biography, there is plenty of information about him on the internet.

Have a wonderful day PixieAdded by Pixie ♥ on Apr 13, 2013 7:08 AM | | | Timothy Purnell
 | A Memorable Day This has been a day of providence for me. My Internet access after 5 frustrating days has at last returned and then my eyes became really amazed to read your sweet birthday acknowledgement. I think I must call you Miss Miracle Mind. I am enormously grateful!
If my Internet access remains favourable I will take pleasure in writing to you very soon.
May God bless you, dear Mariela! | | | Timothy Purnell
 | Fluttering Leaves Above The Past There is no high wall or concealed entrance to the enchantment captured in your secret "garden" and the prospect of a visit is most fascinating. Under a radiant sky or grey or even the moonless nights in the gardens of old Argentina could there be a better temptation than to walk among the rustling shadows to your alluringly fine memorials?
I am so glad to receive your sweetly expressed gratitude. May God bless you and those who are special to your heart, Mariela, always!

 | Catherine Cookson I was searching on the internet for what happened to Mrs. Cookson's remains and I found this from an article.
"Seventeen days after Catherine died, Tom, her husband, also died, and their wish was for their ashes to be put together."
I don't know if this os 100% accurate, but from what I found there is no memorial for her or her husband.

 | RE: Victoria Holt I'm so glad they finally recognized that she was a famous name, too! Victoria Holt, Phyllis Whitney, Eugenia Price ... three of the earliest authors I can remember reading. Now her many fans can find her and show their love!!! | | | Timothy Purnell
 | Catherine Cookson Your memorial is truly excellent and I am sure Catherine Cookson is delighted and proud of you in spirit! In spite of being extremely famous and well liked she may not have been recorded before here because people are reluctant to be put into a straight jacket and the author of a famous memorial curiously loses all power over it.
The reason my mother adored her books is because she invariably set her stories in the nineteenth century and being female and from an earlier time wrote to a readership of decent genuinely intelligent people instead of the lowest of the low that so many modern and especially male hacks who concoct books do.
May God bless you, Mariela, for bringing your charming, profound intellect to grace this fascinating site! | | | Timothy Purnell
 | Tormented Spirits "30 Years Among The Dead" though a long grey journey with many dark shadows of the old Christian Church is extremely amazing too. I do not know whether you have yet read it but it includes the recorded transcripts of numerous spirits contacted by a seemingly remarkably sensitive medium who is the authors' wife. Please accept my great appreciation and gratitude, Mariela!
God bless you with a happy heart! | | | Errete
 | Jardín Florido Listo Mariela, ya la borré. Gracias por la foto, la que tenía el memorial era de una calidad pésima, la tuya es mucho más nítida. Saludos.Added by Errete on Nov 24, 2012 3:40 PM | | | Errete
