When weather and time permit, I like nothing better than to visit cemeteries, photographing grave markers and monuments. For the past 30 years on and off, I have researched extensively in Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren Counties in Ohio, and Kenton County in Kentucky. |
Permission is granted to use my photos. I am more than happy to provide them and help other researchers however I can.

**About FLAGG SPRING CEMETERY:
Working with a small team of volunteers on the records for this cemetery. New memorials, images, and updates to current memorials are being added daily.
Our thanks to the wonderful volunteers who recorded the gravestones in June 1988: Mrs. Maxine Fisher, Ms. Beverly Hafemister, Mrs. Joan I. Hughes, Mrs. Mary H. Remler, Mrs. Alma A. Smith, Mrs. Nancy L. Stern, and Mrs. Margie Thomas. This information can be found in the Hamilton County Burial Records, Volume 2, Anderson Township Cemeteries 1800-1989 by The Hamilton County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, 175 pp., maps, surname index, 1990. They gave us a huge jumpstart to our project!
I am happy to transfer any listings which are not my family.
**ABOUT SPRING GROVE CEMETERY:
Spring Grove is incredibly beautiful and always a joy to visit, but it is also extremely large. Second in the nation only to Arlington National Cemetery, it has over 700 acres, of which 450 are developed and in use. There are roughly a quarter of a million burials there. Many of the Lots are family Lots and have a central monument surounded by individual markers for each person.
I hope you have visited their website at springgrove.org and used their Locate a Loved One page. You can search by name or location to access the burial records. These contain a wealth of information and are definitely worth a look. Expanding your search to include everybody in the same Lot is a great way to find other family members.
Good luck and let me know if I can be of any help.

|Jimmy Lang||Titus Transfer|
Would you be willing to transfer the following Titus' memorials to me.
My great grandfather was Frank Mott Titus, which you have listed in Williamsburg Cemetery. From what I can tell he is buried in BAtavia. His stone is there. Belle, Bessie, and Lottie were all married to him. Samuel and Clara were his parents, and Mott, his grandfather. You probably know most of this, but just wanted to show my connection to them. Thanks, Jimmy Lang
|Jerry Horn||RE: Charles Robert Horn|
Thank you so much for adding the info for Charles Robert Horn.
Anna Pauline was Charles Horn's first wife,(they had two children, Betty Joyce and Patty, Patty is still living) and Jackie was Charles's wife when he passed away (no children).
Anna Pauline and Jackie are sisters, and there parents are also buried at this same cemetery, they are Gillis Parrott and Mildred Carroll Parrot.
William Parrott is another son of Gillis and Mildred, but I have no info on him if he was ever married or not. I am thinking that he was not married.
Charles Robert Horn is my uncle, and both Anna Pauline and Jackie besides being aunts through marriage, are also my first cousins since my mother is their aunt.
I have just requested to identify Carolyn Joyce Horn Massey with her parent's similar request as before with Charles. Charles and Carolyn are brother and sister.
If I can assist further, let me know.
Thank you for you kindness and diligence with your work with the Flagg Spring Cemetery
Thanks for the update. I have contacted the owner to combine/delete the duplicate. I appreciate your help.

|Paula Withorn Calhoun||Beatrice Furlong|
Thanks for the burial location for Beatrice. I knew a lot of her family had been buried around Newtown and I believe her death certificate just had Newtown listed. Since there are several cemeteries in that area, I wasn't sure which one. I was putting a family together and am not related to her, if you are putting the cemetery on find a grave and would like this memorial, please let me know. Thank you again.

|The Ancestor Hunter||Mary Clark|
Thanks for providing the basis for things on Mary. Your info has been posted to her bio and the links made to her parents memorials.
My connections to Mary are through her daughter, Laura, who married Walter Buckingham. The Buckingham line is one of my ancestral lines going back to the 1600s.

Joe (4-17-1885) and Josie (11-4-1884) Menkhaus are my maternal grandparents. Joseph (1838) and Anna Witte (1848)Menkhaus are my great grandparents. Joseph (2-12-1835) and Lena (7-14-1853)Beierle are also my great grandparents. Many Menkhaus/Beierle/Bechtold/Witte family members are buried at St. John's.

Thanks for catching that, I made the correction.
|Mary E Evans||RE: Wilson Stillwell / Flag Spring Cemetery|
I live in Columbus,Ohio. I visit a cousin in Sardinia and we use I-71 to Wilmington. Thank you for the info., on Wilson Stillwell. Do you know if he has a headstone?.
|Mary E Evans||Flagg Cemetery|
Can anyone tell me the directions to this cemetery.
|Mary E Evans||William Stillwell|
William is buried under the wrong name. His name is Wilson Stillwell. His parents are John Stillwell and Margaret Naylor. I have seen his name as Willie, this might be why his family buried him under the name of William. His brother and sisters are William, Hannah, Zeph, Mary, Arminda and John Henry. They were all born in Brown County, Ohio.
