Please visit my dad John Joseph "JJ" Farley and my mom Arlene Ida Wittenberg and other family members that I have linked together. If the mood strikes, thank you for leaving a flower or token.|
Please read the FAQ's! If you can't find an answer or if what you're looking for isn't clear, please come to the Discussion Forums. There are many people there with years of experience on this website and will be more than happy to help.
I will gladly make any corrections or updates. Please use the "EDIT" tab on each memorial to do so. I will transfer memorials on a case by case basis guided by the FAQ's. Also, please read the instructions on how to make such a request and when it is/isn't appropriate to do so: How do I get a memorial updated or transferred to me?
I add these memorials as a tribute to those who have passed as well as allowing friends and relatives who cannot travel to "visit" and pay their respects.
Any information in these memorials that is not listed in the obituary was either provided by another member, was available on the funeral home (listed in the obit) website or taken from SSDI.
Find-A-Grave is not the place to list dead people without knowing what's become of their remains. This is not the place to add people for the sole purpose of making connections in your family tree. There are other websites for that.
The FAQ's state that BU's (Burial - unknown location) may be added for RECENT deaths and asks that the final disposition be determined within 30 days. The Admins have said if you don't believe you will know, DON'T ADD THE MEMORIAL.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who have added their hard work, love and sanity to create these memorials. Without your dogged trekking through brush, nettles, rain, snow, ornery cemetery attendants, dusty historical registers and the like to photograph and record the resting places of those that have gone on before us, we would not have this website.
My heartfelt thanks to bill for sponsoring several of my family's memorials. He is a very kind man with a wicked sense of humor.

Thank you for getting in touch with me regarding my relative, Thorton A. "Tom" McAree, and my duplication of an already memorial. I deleted the memorial and will ask for corrections soon on the existing memorial. Thanks again and have a wonderful holiday. Kathleen

|EmilyAnn Frances May||Happy Thanksgiving|
Thank you for your visits to my family memorials and for all you do here. Many blessings to you and yours.
|Joy Ann Strasser||RE: Hashamomack/Arshamomack Cemetery|
Hi Emily - Yes, Hashamomack and Arshamomack are the same cemetery. The plaque that has been placed there says Hashamomack so that is now its official name but I have also seen it called the Conklin-Albertson cemetery because of the families buried there and it is on Albertson Lane. The LI Gazetteer has various spellings: Arshamonaque, Harshamomque, Hashamomuk. And I am sure newspaper accounts spelled it even more different ways. But it is the same place.

You're very welcome. It's always a pleasure. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving...Glenn

Sorry I haven't been around. Been one thing after another, and now it's that time of the year (ugh). Right now I'm keeping tabs on my daughter-in-law, who had surgery last week and is slowly recouping. Hope this finds you doing fine, and I hope you and yours have a great T-day too!
