Thanks for the obit of Otto Eigner. I must say I was totally stunned. He is my grandfather and I have never been able to find this! Keep up the kind work.

I noticed that you added a photo of Eugene Raymond Courtney. I was wondering where you found this photo? Are you related? He was my grandmother's first cousin.

Alfred G. Wolke
Dear Anonymous,

my name is Loc Jankowiak and I live in Southern France in the little town of Pertuis, liberate by the American heroes of the 45th Infantry Division. I'm an amator historian and I search everything on the liberation of Southern France in 1944 by American troops. I'm looking for the pictures to see the faces of our liberator and I would like to know if it will be possible to use the picture Alfrer G. Wolge, who was part of the 30th IR of the 3rd ID and missing in action in August 1944, with the source of the picture, if possible.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Loc.

Thank you so much! That's a fascinating article. Have you done much research on the Cornelius family?
